If OBj leaves, the WR room regresses. Jones is good, but we have another ILB position and a S and CB to improve. ACam Akers/RB situation - improved
WR situation if Skow doesn't see the field - improved
Stafford in year 2 - improved
If Von signs and we have him for a full year - improved
Ernest Jones in year 2 - improved
Woods all year - improvedCam Akers/RB situation - improved

Who was laughing at the Rams? I dont recall it that way at all. Kirk is being paid top 5 WR money, when Woods signed with the Rams it barely put him inside the top 30 and had very little guaranteed money after his first season. They paid Woods less than what Britt got paid when he left, and that was a good riddance kind of dealEverybody was laughing at the Rams for paying him too much money. The Rams got the last laugh though. And Woods finally got his well deserved big pay day in his next contract.

Agreed but above all else it was health and availability that let the Bucs down. Their o-line was down some key pieces by the time the Rams faced them. AB was, perhaps unsurprisingly, gone after another meltdown. Godwin was injured. Fournette was playing in his first game back off a bad hamstring injury - which is a big deal for a RB. Their secondary had some injuries.Somehow, someway we have to make sure we're able to improve our roster over last year. TB didn't even try last year and we saw what happened.
Curious, how are they improved if Michel is leaving? Big question mark there with Hendo/Akers injury history.Cam Akers/RB situation - improved
I concur and believe the Rams will draft a RB during the draft someone like Isaih Pacheco out of Rutgers versatile and decent size at 5'11 216lbs who was under utilized at Rutgers because most of the time, they were playing from behind.Curious, how are they improved if Michel is leaving? Big question mark there with Hendo/Akers injury history.
Also of note, Michel only fumbled 1 time in 260 plays.
Dont see how him leaving makes the team better
Tampa Bay was the NFC #2 seed. I don't call that letting up especially since they were a wild card team the year before. From listening to Cowherd it seems that the Buccaneers let up after winning the Super Bowl. Brady said yo the press more than once that they need to tighten things up, have more discipline.
I’m guessing it’s tough to be on your game the entire season after a Super Bowl.
The Rams team needs an RB that is versatile to do many things good enough does not have to be great but the main element in his game is whomever Snead selects (it may be two) being able to be the last line in #9 safety net protection.I concur and believe the Rams will draft a RB during the draft someone like Isaih Pacheco out of Rutgers versatile and decent size at 5'11 216lbs who was under utilized at Rutgers because most of the time, they were playing from behind.
I think we are all expecting Akers to look much better as he gets further away from his injury. I do agree that we'd be better with Michel. He was one helluva pick up I'd rather have him then He do since Hendo always gets bit by the injury bug. The only problem we have is our cap room to pay him. Unless Michel takes way less money to re-sign (which I highly doubt he'll do), those FA dollars are going elsewhere.Curious, how are they improved if Michel is leaving? Always liked Pacheco, he was one of the players Rutgers had that could be a game changer even though they were behind most of the time. Runs a 4.37 and can catch the ball well, needs to improve in pass protection. My ideal guy would be Brian Robinson of Alabama, however, I believe the Rams have other needs before RB.The Rams team needs an RB that is versatile to do many things good enough does not have to be great but the main element in his game is whomever Snead selects (it may be two) being able to be the last line in #9 safety net protection.
So yes an RB coming in @ around 216 lbs would be great.

Is Tretter a 'run-mauler'? I thought pass-blocking was his strength.View attachment 52980
Any way Allen or Trettee can play guard? ......this is the type of run mauler I'd like to have in the middle as he has blocked on a very run heavy team pretty well.....yes, let me just dream cuz it ain't happening lol
