@Riverumbbq was throwing his name out there last year when he was considered a bust. He really turned things around

I always thought he was under appreciated with the Raiders, last year would have been the time to pounce, and he's certainly worked his way out of our price range now.

Very different perspective on FA as a Rams fan these days. Good players going to shit teams for the $$$ (Uzomah) and average players getting paid big $$$ (Kirk) by desperate teams. Rams are saving any big $$$ for proven players and letting average players looking for big $$$ go.

It took a LONG time for that to happen. He wasn't welcomed back with open arms.

Texans fans are done with Deshaun from what I can tell.

Strictly from a football view, dude is a coward for wanting to leave the moment things went bad. Comp that to Matthew Stafford putting up with the Lions for so long.

Fuck Deshaun.
Drs Shaun wasn’t indicted. That could be seen as not guilty.

I’m in PA. Steeler fans here were willing to look the other way. They just claimed ignorance and just wanted to win. It blew over in a season. That’s how it goes. Rey Lewis shoots someone, Leonard Lityle kill’s someone, a few big plays and transgressions just float away on the autumn breeze.

Good for SBJ. Expected him to leave. Solid player and nice dude but with Ashawn turning it up and Gaines showing he's a monster, we have a few young guys that will be groomed and good.

I was referring to him wanting out because he got butthurt of the way the team became. After signing a contract and seeing BOB trade away Deandre Hopkins.

I'm sure there were a bunch that did so. I didn't buy his robotic apology back then. I thought he was a douche. Took years for me to believe he actually improved himself. I think he did tho.

Renters are spending some money this year - they have HAVE to win this year or be frozen out of LA even more.

Plus Herbert is going to be costing them 45-50 million in about 12-24 months time.

So the Jaguars reached agreements with the following players / #'s as reported thus far.

Christian Kirk ... four years / $72M but could reach as high as $84M

Brandon Scherff ... no numbers yet but have to believe contract averages between $12-$16M-per-year

Foyesade Oluokun ... three years / $45M

Foley Fatukasi ... three years / $30M

Zay Jones ... three years / $24M but could reach $30M

Evan Engram ... one year / $9M

Taven Bryan ... one year / no amount yet reported

There are some good players there but not sure I see any bargains; and see some huge over-pays.

Is this the way to build a team? At least, with the exception of Scherff, they are all pretty young.

Yes and the only way for a losing franchise to bring guys in is to overpay.

NO way the Jags are gonna be getting any discounts.
Overpay for at least decent or proven talent, like Allen Robinson.

Kirk is a decent #2, who getting devonte Adams money.
