And the reason I say he's probably better than Blythe is because I haven't watched enough games to really throw out meaningful opinions on these guys. I think there's a lot of JAGs here in FA basically.

I also think Snead wants to draft a center and is blowing smoke which isn't a popular take atm lol.

I'm ok with Blythe on a backup level deal. Peanuts. If they pay him good money then I have to endure his play which is no bueno.

If that happens I may gouge my eyes out

Im sure someone has the exact numbers but after Stafford restructures which we all assume should happen soon, I think we'll have around $15M in space. Maybe more after the Brockers trade. But we'll need to keep $4M-5M open to sign the draft class.
Okay so we're not completely strapped. Hmmmm

Honestly yeah I'd probably gouge my eyes out too. I think he's gone. But could see them bring him back as depth is the best way to say it.

Blythe starting or next man up shouldn't be ok after watching him the last 2 years.

It's not personal for me but I get that. But I don't think we have to worry about it. McVay won't be wowed by his PFF grades.

Food for thought but Clowney is out there. His value is way down. Maybe he takes a one year deal with us ala Suh and try to get $$$ next year. I’d rather spend $5m on clowney than Fox. He’s be very intriguing on our DL.

All these pro bowl interior OL coming into our division for cheap contracts and mid to late round picks. Sure hope Snead and McVay have a plan because we've missed out on some very very good players.

And that's what's the most maddening. They're being traded for shit. If you like the young dudes we have, fine.. but trading for a proven veteran who is still solid and can coach the younger fellas up is also a move to make.

So far, AZ, SEA, and SF have been aggressive upgrading there weaker OLs, meanwhile we haven't.

I'm going to be LIVID if the Rams go into the season betting on the young OL, EDGE, and ILBs only to have it backfire AGAIN.

I guess we've finally found out what the Rams free-agent plans were. There weren't any.
