So it's two years guaranteed and most of 2021 is a signing bonus. Seems like Rams should have more money to spend if they choose to... wonder if they are waiting to restructure Stafford, or have some stuff in the works that hasn't been reported yet.
like a WR??

I like Mundt as our #3 TE. Cheap and can block and catch (when asked)

So far Rams have lost 4 or 5 players and have only added one new face, Stafford, to the team.

the rams were only a stafford away from multiple superbowl victories. or at least that's what we were told over and over again.

the rams seem to be in agreement.

Shouldn't the Cardinals be upgrading their OL and defense? Not adding to their WR position.
Yeah but Murray does need weapons. More than just Hopkins and scrubs. I get it. Still, i would have looked at paying and bringing in a stud TE and a younger prospect type of WR.

And Fitzgerald retired, so they need a taller receiver who can catch anything. Green, if healthy, does that for them.

Not having re-signed Mundt as of yet certainly makes me believe there might be something up regarding a free agent TE.
I would not be opposed to this. Everett was far less of a disappointment to me than he was to the majority of this board.
He needs to mature upstairs IMO. He'll be a star somewhere else when and if he does.

Yeah, tight end is way up on my list of needs, Higbee isn’t the receiver we hoped he’d be, and Hopkins is not someone I’d count on in the slightest. My dream is Freiermuth, but I also wouldn’t be opposed to Tremble or Long.

I think he's too risky when they do have cash to spend on younger players. His health and age do nothing to move the needle for them IMO. I mean...AJ Green and JJ Watt? Those are short game moves made by title contenders. Hudson was obviously a really great move, but he's not young either.

I just don't see them as a team that knows how to (or is willing) to farm for talent.

I keep wanting to complain because the rest of the division is being so aggressive during this free agency. so I'll just keep reminding myself that we traded for Stafford and that was our most aggressive move of the offseason. We still got other stuff we have to do but I guess that just is what it is.

Yeah, they’re struggling to draft good, young receivers. If I’m a Cardinals fan, I don’t mind Green, Hudson or Watt, but they are taking risks. Then again, we’ve been taking risks ever since Snead made that deal with Washington for RG3, since we took a short defensive tackle in 2014. (And in all honesty, I prefer risk over playing things safe; safe never got you top talent.)
