Anyone else think Baker was the Rams choice? Az moves just ahead of the Rams to get him, then the Rams trade down??
Not only do we have plenty of time to draft another Center, but we may have our future C already on the team in Wichmann, Donnal or Brown. Where would Lamp have started in 2017 ? We need our first pick to get on the field right away. jmo.

He could start anywhere on the line except for LT. He would have been a starter at Guard the day he stepped into the Rams' facility.
I don't know if Baker was the pick. The trade is rather complex for it to be agreed upon so quickly. I think it was King.

Some may claim a lot of us are "overreacting" but if you've suffered watching the Rams lose game after game predominantly due to crummy OL play then what you're seeing is not an "overreaction" but the crushing reality that we passed on a guy who could/should have been a first round pick at a crucial position of need and we failed to pull the trigger.
