Injury Update?

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/injuries/LAR/los-angeles-rams

(Updated 11/01/2016)

According to head coach Jeff Fisher, Brockers (thigh) worked on the side at Tuesday's practice and will be a game-time decision for Week 9, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.Brockers has been dealing with a thigh injury since Week 1, indicating that the ailment is not one that is going to suddenly go away. Nevertheless, even if Brockers isn't at 100-percent, he would provide help on the defensive line against a Panthers team that ranks fifth in the NFL in rushing with 123.9 YPG.

According to head coach Jeff Fisher,
Johnson (ankle) worked on the side at Tuesday's practice and will be a game-time decision for Week 9, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.Johnson has been held out since Week 5 with a high-ankle sprain. As the Rams' No. 1 cornerback, his return would be a major boost for the Rams' pass defense. If he can't go Sunday, Lamarcus Joyner would likely see increased work in the defensive backfield.

Jamon Brown
Status: Questionable
Position: Guard

Brown had surgery on his hand during the Rams' bye week but claims he will be ready to play Week 9, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Ref the Joyner remark...I would hope to see more of Josh Forrest in @ LB'er with Ogletree & Barron this Sunday & less of Joyner @ his rover post as Nickle-Back-SSLB-3rd Safety stuff myself against this Carolina.... very good rushing team. let Joyner play the Nickle to help out Hill/Gaines/Gratz...we know they need all the help those three can get. They sure do not get much help from the safeties in deep zones coverages . On OG Jamon Brown ..first time I have read any info on his hand surgery?.

Anybody catch that Cowboy/Eagle game?

There's a third option, however unlikely or unwanted.
Goff is everything as advertised, and the Rams (under Fisher) suddenly have an offensive scheme that works.
That gives the defense the ability to play to its strengths, and THAT suddenly becomes better.
And for good measure, Hekker becomes the league's worst punter due to never having to punt.
It's the domino effect.
...and option4: everything goes Spagnuolo.

NFC is still wide open

Yep, we still have a good chance to go on a little run here. But we have to play a lot better than we have been...

Our next 4 opponents
vs Panthers (2-5)
@ Jets (3-5)
vs Dolphins (3-4)
@ Saints (3-4)

Our next 4 are all very winnable. We NEED to win these games.

After those 4 we've got NE, ATL, SEA, SF, and AZ... tough stretch to end the season.

Biggest takeaways from the first half of the L.A. Rams 2016 season

both their rivals, the Cardinals and Seahawks lose their games. Now sitting only one and half games back from the leading Seahawks the Rams have the majority of their second half of the season being played at home.
THIS^ could prove to be the most important thing!!(y) JMHO! I really believe the Rams can get on a Roll these next 4 games:yess: and beyond!!(y);):D

Panthers look pretty good

I actually like the panthers to be honest. Cam newton is a straight boss and their linebacker group are the best in the league. Always fun watching them play

Without Norman their secondary is a bit of a problem though, Britt might have a nice day if we can get some sort of run game going to open things up a bit
Honestly though, I expect the rams to put up another L.

Jaguars fire ex-Rams OC Greg Olson

And you could have the same debate about Spagnuolo who was let go in New Orleans, but that was more scheme and Payton wanting his own guy once he was back, but as bad as Spagnuolo was a Head Coach, IMO, he's a very good DC and IMO, Bradley would be as well, however, the way things are going, we will soon find out.

I get that feeling about a coach as well, Mike Smith for example, I had a feeling he would fail in Tampa and so far he has.

I disagree. Spagnuolo isn't a good DC. He hasn't done a good job with any team since he's left the Rams.
