It makes me slightly crazy to be Linehan doing well in Dallas. The Rams tried the coordinators Linehan, Spags with no success. They are trying the established NFL HC with limited successes.
I don't like college coaches cing into the NFL as HC.
So, who knows?

Amendola is a good player. Runs a 4.6 which scares no corner and no safety, so Danny ran top tier routes but didn't cause the defense to worry....fear and worry are very important. Britt at least scares the corner with his speed.

I can hear it now.
"Well, we just couldn't transfer that production from practice into the game. We need to execute better and trust the offense. We looked GREAT in practice, it just didn't translate onto the field. They're a great team, their crowd is great and they are well coached." Rinse. Repeat.

Spags sucked, but I think Linehan was the absolute worst.

If you reward Fisher with a 6th year after 5 losing ones, you are signaling to every player and everyone in the league that mediocrity is accepted by the Rams. It's too late for Fisher to finally realize he needs to turn the offense over to a quality coordinator. He should have figured that out from day one in 2012 when he picked Schotty over Hue. He got the defensive coordinator right, but doing it his way on offense has been a failure. Also what big time coordinator will want to work under Fisher. He may say he will turn over the full reigns of the offense, but once things get tough you can rest assured he will stick his hands in things. It's time to move on. 5 years and vast draft and free agency resources are enough to show that you can sink or swim. Fisher sunk. He got more than a fair shake. Time to make the move.

Well compared to tavon, everyone is bigger and has better hands lol. The one thing tavon is better at than everyone else is running 50 yards on a punt return for a 4 yard gain lol.

It doesn't take 5 years to rebuild a franchise, it just doesn't.
Spags had the team at 7 wins and then his final season was just a catastrophe, so when Fisher opens up with 7 wins that gave them 7 win seasons in 2 of 3 years.
And here it is 4 years later just hoping to win 7 again this year.

The New Orleans Saints had the entire franchise thrown off its axis more than four years ago, when the NFL suspended coach Asshole Face and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams for the full season for Williams’ role in the maintenance of a bounty program during the 2009 season. For the first time since then, Williams will return to the Superdome as a coach.

“This is the first time going back down there and coaching,” the Rams defensive coordinator told reporters on Friday. “Really looking forward to it, got a lot of great memories, a lot of good feelings, a lot of good people there that I still stay in contact with.”

There may be some great memories, but the fallout arising from Williams’ effort to create an extra incentive for players who already had a reason to apply hits to opponents that rendered them incapable of continuing surely is the worst memory.

Although the NFL arguably (or actually) mishandled the efforts to end this cultural reality of pro football by nailing one culprit while ignoring evidence it had happened and/or was happening elsewhere, Williams is the one person who was linked to the practice at various prior stops in his career.

As a result, there may be some hard feelings, primarily from the fans who’ll gather for the game. How does Williams think he’ll be received?

“It’s not about that, it’s about these guys playing,” Williams said. “These guys are down there, they’re ready to play. So it’s not about me.”

That may be wishful thinking from Williams. He was the clear culprit of the bounty scandal, and it’s unlikely that fans in New Orleans have forgotten about it — or that they’ll let him forget about it on Sunday.

I don't loathe him. He helped bring us a Superbowl and really did nothing different any of his stops along the way. We knew what we were getting. The NFL was on a witch hunt.

Wasn't thrilled he threw us under the bus with his reinstatement in the balance. But that was a forced confession if i've ever seen one. Goodell held the mans career hostage.

Yup. Guy threw us under to attempt to save himself rather than fight the hypocrisy that was penalizing us for stuff NFL teams continue to do. Not to mention, he knew that it would come out at some point and continued to flounce his "program" even when he knew there was going to be an investigation.

One of my favorite Ram vs Saint games was late December back in 83...When first year Head Coach John Robinson and his Los Angeles Rams invaded the Big Easy taking on Bum Phillips (first year with Saints) and the New Orleans Saints with the winner going to post season.

I went School the next day (Junior in High School) and went around as a popular phrase that year for the Saints was "Who Dat, going beat dem Saints?" I went around to everyone with my Ram gear yelling "Dem Rams, going to beat dem Saints!" The following week the Rams upset the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas 24-17 for Robinson's first post season victory as a Head Coach. Overall an exciting year for the Rams considering they came off of two losing seasons in 81 and the strike shortened season of 82.,
