So the OP was just a spitball idea of engaging Donald. If I were Rams I would engage him before next offseason and let him decide what would interest him. Strength & Conditioning/Scouting/DL Coaching/etc. Dont tell him their intentions but hell it might even interest him join a Super Bowl run.And I really doubt many mediocre players would submit to this proposed camp. Those who would volunteer, probably don't need it....
But does he have that dawg in him. That's the key for me.Yes, I think Mitchell is much more talented then Thomas Jr. Thomas may be the best deep threat in the class, but literally doesn't do anything else well (including catching). Mitchell is just so much more balanced and even more athletic. Mitchell has a much higher ceiling IMO.
Wow...I understand the burnout, totally, but what about the money? Korda makes millions. I would love to play golf for millions...that would be like, ah, being in heaven!
I don't really remember that, but I'd kinda have to disagree with your takeaway on that. IMO Fisher was a good "player's coach" and knew how to connect with guys and motivate them and create a team atmosphere. (Discipline was only mediocre, but team morale was pretty good). Fisher's problem was with adapting to a modern offense.I was completely done with Fisher when, on Hard Knocks, he openly mocked Jared Goff for buying fans for his teammates due to the heat in their rooms. I guess Fisher thought Goff should've gone the whole HVAC route or something.
I knew that Goff would not be allowed to succeed under him.
Just begging for a WR bet.Odds

The Los Angeles Rams have been hard at work filling out their roster by signing free agents and bringing back some of theirtheramswire.usatoday.com

And racking up 20.5 sacks and 25 TFL's and winning DPOY while doing so? And lastly... they essentially kept his low weight a secret all year?
Interesting stuff. Makes you wonder about the conventional wisdom regarding a DT's weight. Granted AD is a freak.... a super freak. But could other strong and undersized and cat-quick DT's create some mismatches?
maybe I'll get my shit together and set something up..Sounds like a good sports book bet. I'll leave it to @RhodyRams to decide if he wants to do it and what determines getting his shit together. Maybe it should be whether he fails at baseball next.
You sonofa.....“I want a WR at 19!”
“I want a DL!”
“I want a QB!”
I never "met" the guy online. I am a denizen of RamStalk and now ROD. Sounds like a good dude.He was a long time Herd poster and posted a fair bit on the Huddle
Wherever and whenever he posted, I was glad to interact with him

Hell, I forgot to include Leap Year and now we can add earthquake IN NJ!Easter in March.
A solar eclipse.
Aaron Donald retiring.
Sean McVay drafting defense first.
What other rarities will occur in 2024? Rams sweep the niners?
Happy Easter
Elite athlete on the rise. Teachable. And on occasion, a freak athlete can be a great NFL player even though his college production is not huge. You look at speed, hands, feet, all the things that he does well. What am I missing about Chop Robinson? His production (sacks, tfl, tackles, qb hits) is anemic.
Well I think I read they have an offseason decision to make on Stafford but either way if he doesn't play well this season and if they do take a LT then they will be set up to draft a QB who will benefit from one hell of a line in front of him. So the investment in the OL so far is welcome and even more investment in the draft would be welcome. Wouldn't be particularly efficient, given that OT would need to redshirt, but it would set the table for QB play to be strong no matter what they do at the position.could the first two picks give us some insight into how the Rams are thinking about their future?
A QB could mean McVay is serious about being in it for the long haul.
An OLT could mean they are thinking of a multi year Super Bowl window.
A pass rusher feels like a more urgent move indicating that they think it’s happening now.
A receiver feels like a future move for a longer run.
That movie "Uncut Gems" was a good education for me on parlay betting!a parlay is a bet that multiplies with each win... however if any of the choices fails, you lose the entire bet
