OFFICIAL Los Angeles Rams Training Camp 2025

I remember when we drafted him they said he had the best win rate % on passing downs in all of college football last year
In this “age of information”, (Bill Bruford), the Rams seem to be keying in on certain numbers that must not have carried as much weight once upon a time. They are flat out nailing it in the draft lately.

Rams V Cowboys joint practice

I'd put Goff ahead of Jimmy G., too. I would add though that Goff also has to have the right situation.
Goff is heads and tails a better QB than he was when he left us AND his elite oline plays a role in that too.

Guy is now a more pure drop back passer and consistently seems to get to answers later in the down then he ever did with the Rams and from what other people have said the Lions offense offers him more answers than McVay's did (don't come for me with pitchforks! - McVay's offense is great and has answers to what the defense throws at you but the menu isn't as varied from what I hear).

Rams RB Blake Corum explains what he's doing differently in Year 2

With Kyren's pass blocking I could see him emerge more as the go yo guy in terms of RB1 when in a 3rd down or any passing situation. Let the young guys take the hits between the tackles on 1st & 2nd down more often. Obviously, Williams will as well, but start to shift him more to those critical passing down situations.
I don't know...Kyren's pretty young himself and they just paid him. I think he'll take the lions share of the workload with Corum and Hunter occasionally sprinkled in.

The latter two will get significant snaps if injury strikes KW.

RIP Loni Anderson

Just from THAT NIGHT alone!

But I can't tell those.

I'm also full of useless information and facts. Useless being the key word there.

People tell me I have many stories also. Yours are much better.

I find myself holding back. I just grew up in the right places at the right time.

Things just happen.

Don't stop.
I like hearing all of your stories. I am reluctant to share some of mine as well because if comes off as a "humble-brag" which can be pretty nauseating. But I don't see it that way. Like you said, @SWAdude (just got off one of your lovely flights Monday AM from Boise. wonder if you've ever flown my ass around.) But these cool stories should be shared- we are just in the right place/right time.

It doesn't make me cool that I was once Joe DiMaggio's hero. Just a fun story I've shared over the years (too many times according to my wife) :ROFLMAO:

10 Observations from Rams' joint practice with Cowboys: Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams lead strong day for offense, defensive line and Quentin Lake

My counter to that is PUKA had at least 4(5) TD’s against the Cowboys
from what I saw.

Troy Reeder was all over the field.Early on Omar Speights wasn’t getting out to flat in time?
He did get into the above video.I won’t take anything away from him & if the starter like he is now. That would be a good thing.
Tony Fields will look good in the preseason as well.He held his own.
IMO better than at least either Dolac or Pooh Jones.

Stoops held his own with Covey & Mumpfield.

Looked like Ethan Evans got out punted by about 5 yards IMO by Dallas punter.

could go negative?

At the End Dallas started trying to get into it.
Le Collin’s Dallas Old Tackle 77 was getting frustrated & others.

Nate 'Peanut Punch' Landman makes waves at training camp

Saquon had 345 carries for 2,005 yards and 15 touchdowns in 16 games last year. I'll root for that.

That would be over 5.8 YPC. KW isn't fast enough for that. Nor will he be able to play against the Rams 2024 run defense multiple times to pad his stats like that.
I'll root for him since he's on our team, but I'm also being realistic in my expectations for him.
If he's going to survive for the entire 3 year extension, we aren't going to be able to run him 350 times per year, and if we do, that's bad management by McVay and the coaching staff.

CAMP REPORT Camp report July 29

Made it in without any one checking for tickets. This place is still not organized but I’m not complaining.

No pictures today, just too difficult with the sun and bleacher position.

I’m taking a page from @dpjax playbook and will use voice to text.

Don’t expect any updates till tonight.

Missed out - heading out to BubbaRams favorite place. Oxnard.

Not sure how that will workout. It some needs a ride - Lol

Years ago (early 90's), Universal Studios in Orlando hadn't been open long and I was doing some business with them. I was roaming around in their offices lost and happened to go into the wrong office. Guess who was in there?

Yep... Sheena. I was embarrassed obviously, but she saved me. She told me she had been lost too and not to feel bad. She introduced herself to me and we teamed up on the staff there for letting people wander around their executive offices and just open doors. She was doing a concert or something there and offered me VIP entrance. When I told my ex-wife about it when I got home that evening, she said no way to attending. Arrrrrrrgggggg.

Her hair wasn't really short then... and I don't want to see her with it and ruin one of my fun thoughts. You're trying to kill my memory of her lol... she was FINE AF.
Yeah she had longer hair in the 90s.

The 80s was when she had short hair.

Edit - you should have gone to the concert anyway :)

I wish I would have hung onto all of my old ticket stubs.
I have a drum lesson signed by Nick McBrain, formerly of Iron Maiden. Took a few lesson with him, super nice guy.
A couple of signed things from Dio, Jake E Lee, Rob Halford and some others....have lost most of it over the years.
I had a picture of me playing drums with Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. This is from when you had to get your pictures developed, so, not signed. But, I lost the box that picture was in when we moved a few years ago.....that bummed me out.

I saw Oliver Anthony Music Live Last Night ...

Pretty fucking awesome overall if I may say so in Phoenix, AZ. I'm not a huge country fan but he wasn't that. Off memory he did the following cover songs; Freebird, Simple Man, Devil Went Down to Georgia and a popular Hank Williams and Johnny Cash songs. He played a new one called 'Hank' that comes out in a few weeks. His supporting band is incredible! I've never heard a fiddle and or chello live ever before. They also covered Primus, too.

He also played ' Scornful Woman back to back. He didn't like the first effort so played it all over a second time.

Enjoy for anyone that appreciates him.

He's from about 20 miles from where I grew up in Virginia. My sister actually knows him.
