Not sure, but I heard somewhere that Ryan Ramczyk's injury might be career ending and Trevor Penning has been a bust to date. You sure the Saints need (want) two OTs?

He’s a pretty refined pass blocker (no sacks allowed over 2 years at LT). He will need development as a run blocker, but I see him as a day 1 starter.Fashanu is a bit unrefined for my taste in RD 1. Tons of measurables and potential but lacking consistency and natural instinct at this stage--Per scouting reports I've read, and using the eyeball check.
But I am often way off on my projections so there is that.
My overall goal would be to get a very high floor player in RD 1 or else I move back.
Having said that I am sure Fashanu will now be a first ballot Hall of famer.

Haha that's one of my favorite memes! Congrats man... look forward to this next year.
I think Pratt is worth a shot. He’s got the character they like and ran three different offenses in college and was still lead all three teams well. If anyone loves football it’s this kid. He’d be a good one to sit and learn. If Bennett is back and things are resolved I think he has what they need in a backup QB. But when a player falls out like that teams tend to be wary. So I'd imagine he is on the bubble and may face a rookie challenge from this draft.
Clearly QB2 is a priority and with Jimmy this year it is covered. But it seems like they want a young ascending type in the backup role. So I'd imagine we see a round 4-7 addition.
And if they are sweet on any of the higher slotted QBs they are possibilities too. Keep saying for example that Penix is a fit. Don't know the personality and interview side but if that kid is there at 19 I would think long and hard before passing on him.
I think they would like to have that Green Bay setup, where the next guy is on the roster and vetted before they change over to him.
One thing for sure, the further you go down the worse the record was. That includes Snead and Fisher which was still a major upgrade.
Here's a list of all our drafts. Might be a good thing to look at to see how much last year was an outlier.
1 starter and a bunch of good role players would be a good draft. 2 starters and any change would be fantastic.
Also, Rams did quite well when you factor in the lack of 1sts the last few years.
I think our 10-7 and postseason finish made me forget how many teams marched down the field with their opening drives for 7. That was ugly and rough indeed. However, I also remember the frustration on the Game Day threads last season when another team would methodically march down the field without us getting near their qb and the inevitable secondary lapses that would give up a big third down play.
Sounds like the makings of a hit song, Brother.Gonna ramble.
I’m old, it’s late, and I’m high.
Culture maybe isn’t everything, but…
I've seen him in the 2nd a lot along with Max Melton and a few others and I've seen some of them in the 3rd. I've seen each of them as high as like 35 and as low as 90. Anything is possible and there could be others like Sanistril though I've seen him in the high second or late 3rd mock but I think he's a bit small and likely a slot CB.Great job, Old School. My only question is if KAD is rated for the second round.
Most mocks I've seen have him in 3rd or 4th round.
YMMV

I like Verse, started his collegiate career up here in Albany, NY and then transferred to Florida State. Plays the right side, good match with Bryon Young IMHO.My pick is Verse, Thomas was a hypothetical that McVay could want a weapon. My choice has been Verse for a while now.
Agreed, If that article has merit, then Tackle by stats and Edge by personnel are glaring needs to be addressed. AJ picked it up after a suspect start in my eyes. For those looking for the Rams to draft a LT, this has statistics to support that.
For those arguing that the Defensive Line is the most glaring need, this has statistics to support that.
One of my biggest questions/concerns is what happens when Kyren isn't on the field? Whether that's just snaps off or injury.
They have two returning backs.. but I think we all would like to see another viable option. Kyren's injury history, along with the performance of the offense without him, makes me worry about this spot.
Anything above a 5.0 and I am saying if you are anywhere close to the epicenter - you could be in trouble.Earthquakes along East Coast and in the midwest often can be much more widespread and more violent at the same scale as one that hits West Coast. More violent mostly because infrastructure east of the Rockies weren't built to be Earthquake proof because they're older and the quakes tend to cause much faster back and forth shaking motion. They don't happen frequently thankfully but at the same time that's part of the problem. But yeah, 4.5 is tame but when you experience maybe 1 real quake in your lifetime if your an adult it's going to be more jarring.
Hoping I'm not around when the New Madrid fault decides to have its next serious earthquake because it's going to absolutely level most things up and down the Mississippi River area from St. Louis down to Mississippi and maybe over to Ohio Valley
2) Earthquakes of the same magnitude affect larger areas in the East than in the West:![]()
Why should people in the eastern United States be concerned about earthquakes?
1) Severe earthquakes have occurred in the eastern U.S.: In November of 1755, an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 6.0 and a maximum intensity of VIII occurred about 50 miles northeast of Boston, Massachusetts. Boston was heavily damaged. Other strong earthquakes recorded in the...www.usgs.gov
The size of the geographic area affected by ground shaking depends on the magnitude of the earthquake and the rate at which the amplitudes of body and surface seismic waves decrease as distance from the causative fault increases. Comparison of the areas affected by the same Modified Mercalli intensity of ground shaking in the 1906 San Francisco, California, the 1971 San Fernando, California, the 1811-12 New Madrid, Missouri, and the 1886 Charleston, South Carolina, earthquakes shows that a given intensity of ground shaking extends over a much larger area in the Eastern United States. Ground shaking affects a larger area because amplitudes of seismic waves decrease more slowly in the east than in the west as distance from the causative fault increases.
Eastern North America has older rocks, some of which formed hundreds of millions of years before those in the West. These older formations have been exposed to extreme pressures and temperatures, making them harder and often denser. Faults in these older rocks have also had more time to heal, which allows seismic waves to cross them more effectively when an earthquake occurs. In contrast, rocks in the West are younger and broken up by faults that are often younger and have had less time to heal. So when an earthquake occurs, more of the seismic wave energy is absorbed by the faults and the energy doesn’t spread as efficiently.
More Vulnerable Infrastructure in the East![]()
East vs West Coast Earthquakes
Why was an earthquake in Virginia felt at more than twice the distance than a similar-sized earthquake in California? The answer is one that many people may not realize. Earthquakes east of the Rocky Mountains can cause noticeable ground shaking at much farther distances than comparably-sized...www.usgs.gov
Many of the older structures in the East, such as buildings and bridges built before the 1970s, were not designed to endure earthquakes and therefore may not fare well. The recent earthquakes that struck near Christchurch, New Zealand showed the damage that infrequent earthquakes can do to a region with older structures. With that said, modern buildings are being constructed to newer design standards, and there has been progress in retrofitting many older buildings in the East. In the West, older structures are often retrofitted, and new structures are designed to withstand strong shaking.

Furthermore, smaller structures such as houses could experience stronger and more damaging shaking in the East. Earthquakes in the East tend to cause higher-frequency shaking—faster back and forth motion—compared to similar events in the West. Shorter structures are more susceptible to damage during fast shaking, whereas taller structures are more susceptible during slow shaking.
I would think that he’s on the radar of every team in the league, with the possible exception of the Ravens, given his stellar performances so far.We need to move quickly once their season ends as Bates is drawing interest. Vikings and Lions have been linked to him by the sporting news,

Totally. This contract is not up to the Rams. I'm sure he realizes that.
