He was a 6th rounder that hasnt seen the field in 2 seasons. Dont see where McVay would feel invested in him, he didnt draft him. I could see them drafting another this year. McVay was allegedly the TE whisperer, so far only 1 on the team is his catch.
Dude, that's amazingSo I have been riding motorcycles since I was 4 years old and racing them since I was 7. I started out racing motocross but then transitioned to road racing when I was 13. The best bike I've ever raced was my 2007 Yamaha R6. I'll try to find a picture of it for y'all. Last year, Yamaha offered a lot of $$$ for racers who could win on their new R3 in the expert classes so I bought and raced one of those. The bike was a blast and I ended up winning 2 Expert Championships! Anyway, here's a picture of me on the R3 at Roebling Road Raceway in Georgia:

Yup my man Cappa is on the south team. Can’t wait to see how he does.Yup, me to, this is his first opportunity against the big school kids, hopefully he and other lower ranked potential OT's can rise to the occasion :

That's a bet with your heart thingy...not with the mind...LOLOLYou'd be watching from the sofa then, you have 445 bucks.
The only other quarterback on the Patriots’ roster is backup Brian Hoyer, and the Patriots don’t have any quarterbacks on their practice squad.
Before this year William Hayes was the best Rams FA signing in probably 10-15 years. That's pretty scary.Yeah Les and the entire front office along with the coaching staff deserve cred for a great FA period last year. And what was so shocking about it is how terrible the Rams have been prior with their additions, might be my old memory but I can't remember the last time we hit in FA like that. Maybe Timmerman?
Just a great job all around.
Could be.I wouldn’t want him to play outside. Put him next to Tree and save that outside spot for Samson Ebuhdmslsnd. I think he’s going to be a stud.
McVay seems to have instilled a good balance of letting the players be themselves... without letting that get in the way of appearing to be a professional and representing the team in a good light.
I hope he can continue to coach the players on how to conduct themselves and not embarrass the team.
The thing with Sammy though is that he got open a lot, just a lot of games where the read progression didn't get to him but he beat his guy. That plus his decoy contribution with opposition CBs and safety support, his blocking ability, and the expectation for Jared to get better tells me it's the right call to find a way to keep him around for at least one more season.
He's never been in a good offense with a top QB throwing him the ball but still his rookie season he had damn near 1k yards in 16 games, year two he had 1k in 13 games, third year missed half the season with injury. First year with us his yardage sucked, but I think there is enormous potential to be had with him growing through camp and hopefully on his own time in the offseason with Jared.
I don't know, it seems to work pretty well for Wilson
Did anyone else think Payton got too conservative with that third down call before the field goal? I'm not saying this in hindsight but I know when I was watching it I was thinking they should pass it for the first down. After Brees had marched down the field in no time, all they had to do was run a bunch formation, run a combo route and hit a one yard pass. If they get a first down, they run the clock down to four seconds then kick the field goal. I realize if it's incomplete the Vikings have one time out yet but Payton has one of the best QBs in the history of the game back there and he was on fire. I'm sure Payton is probably more bothered by that play call than by the rookie DB who missed the tackle.
In all seriousness, make that man a GM somewhere. I really think if he dealt with talent and player evaluation 100% of the time with a different and non-Fisher coaching staff. He could be a real asset.
Before we cast off Trujo i'd rather the Rams FO makes an adjustment of the inordinate amounts we are paying the line backing corps. The money being spent = excellence, not getting it in any way shape or formI am the biggest believer on this forum that TJ is a VERY good NFL cornerback.
At the same time I wouldn't be completely against letting him go. That money could be better spent elsewhere.
Sign a defensive lineman with TJs money instead and between Hill, NRC, Webster, and a free agent or high draft pick we should be ok at cornerback.
As good as Joyner is, I wouldn’t over pay him. They could get a cheaper SS if he wants top dollar.
