I’m not desperate enough for validation to get a dog.Well at least you didn't name your dog after him. A dog that would develope a limp and really wasn't very good. Poor pup was cursed from the start and I did it to him.
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how they could make major offensive line upgrades? I started an entire thread on it....I think they could just as well add major offensive line upgrades to keep him upright and open running lanes and that being as big if not as big of an improvement for 9.
Our problem is we are beatable too.
I realize the circumstances … Holiday, time of day, Dallas, tradition..
We already knew but the nfl is not only the king but also the supreme ruler of the American sporting landscape.

you like McClendon? really? If we had a mobile QB thats a different story but with Matthew Stafford back there we need wayy better even as a backup tackle. He has been the weak link every time he’s suited up and it screws up the whole line. We need a tight end to chip his guy otherwise forget about anything longer than a 2 step drop. McVay needs to go “12” or “13” with this guy-so freaking stubborn manYou can see the potential of McClendon.
There are times he looks really good. But he has technical flaws and guys with technique issues, unless they are total freak athletes, get drafted where McClendon got drafted.
To quote my nephew, who does some fighting as a kick boxing; "Training is not fighting." A guy can work on it and work on it in practice and come game time, against different players with different skills of their own, its easy to revert back to the bad technique. Changing techniques takes a lot of time if it in ingrained.
I still like McClendon as a depth piece going forward at RT, not LT but RT. As for now, if he is playing this year on pure passing downs he will need help. If he can keep the rusher in front of him and get his hands on them he usually does well. I remember him stone walling Young vs the Whiners multiple times last year.
Its frustrating but takes time.
No source but from watching games and listening to announcers - that's the rule.Do you have a source? I can only find out of bounds. There is no clarity to sideways or backwards that I could locate. Generally speaking backwards typically happens when forward progress stops in the field of play and the player is pushed back. Officials will keep that clock moving in that scenario.
I’ve seen a couple times where a player runs backwards to get out of bounds to elude hits or defenders.
The guy held AD they just didnt see it. Stop evertything.guys...the challenge flag was on the ground before the next play...the refs just didnt see it before the snap
if the flag is on the ground, it has to be honored.

I’m really not getting the Tutu usage. He is truly limited on contested balls but he seems to find space across the middle. Seems like a perfect option when Nacua/Kupp are blanketed but Stafford seems to prefer to laser passes through mouse holes.I have been wondering the same thing. Our WR end arounds was a staple of our offense in the SB year, including a HUGE 4th down end around with Kupp in the SB. I've even noticed the lack of screen plays recently. Would be nice to use either of these every once and a while to keep the D honest.
Oh yeah, and a deep shot to Tutu every so often wouldn't hurt.
I agree with everything that you are posting here InfiniteRam.100% - still waiting for somebody in the Ram's media to call him on this shit.
Atwell should be taking half of Robinson's snaps, and probably about 10-20% of Kupp's to keep him fresh.
Id do that this year too. Christian was signed to the PS and I think grabbed by someone else. And its not a great draft for pure LTs from what I can gather. More RT types, so Jackson might have to stay at LT and any swing T would mostly be a RT.
Maybe the answer next yr fir a swing OT is to sign a veteran who has experience at LT as a reserve.
Anyone watching the Rams, who has watched them since day one of McVay, can clearly see how stale this offensive system has become. He has either chosen not to adapt, or is unable too. Good teams find ways to win with marginal talent at certain positions, and with injuries.
He will not have an endless leash - no one ever does.
YOUSONOFA ~ Rudy RuettigerLord of the Rings trilogy has gotta be among the best movie series I've ever seen. Top notch acting. Good special effects. Good story line. Sean Astin was at his best in this one. And he's had some good ones. The Hobbit movies were great too. I have no idea what critics think about them. I don't pay attention to them. I just know what I like.
