For sure.I suppose. I wasn’t trying to read anything into it.

It's sad.

He will be 4th or 5th on depth chart and special teams seems like they wanna switch the offense up I like itWon't get much chance with Tutu now being an apparent focus of the offense. Too bad I like his tool set a lot more as do most around here or did until Tutu was given all that cheddar.
Ridiculous response. Ha!! You are so far off my point that I am not sure which one of us is more stoned (its me). I wasn't arguing what tier Stafford is, I was just saying that Darnold ain't shit for "winning" 14 games.Ridiculous response. Stafford won four straight with zero run game to hoist a Lombardi. So as it pertains to this discussion he is in fact one of the very few QBs in this league who can take over big games and win them without a run game.
The second tier of QBs is quite sizeable I think. And as always this stuff is very subjective. But there are more QBs who could do what the Eagles QB just did for example, as that was a defense and run game both around him at an elite level. And all of them, like Hurts, are second tier QBs.
There are third tier QBs as well I think. Guys who are not as proficient as the top options in that second tier in seeing the field, getting through reads, etc. But for purpose of this conversation trying to act like Geno is some fucking prize is absurd. He's down there with Darnold and quite a few others.
Wow, what a strange story, at the end. Glad to hear Betsy was a devoted caregiver. Also glad to hear foul play has been pretty much ruled out.![]()
Gene Hackman’s wife was protective of his health for years. She died of hantavirus and days later, he was gone
For years, actor Gene Hackman’s doting wife Betsy Arakawa would do whatever she could to help keep him healthy, whether it meant wearing a mask everywhere she went or encouraging him to stay fit by riding his bike or doing yoga on Zoom.www.yahoo.com
Even though it's just a one year deal, the Tutu re-signing has taken away my interest in the shorter (or smaller) WRs.I thought Lane looked intriguing during practices at the Senior Bowl. But his production was really underwhelming (which could have more to do with VT's offense and QB than him).
Tyler Johnson is also a free agentThat surprises me. Not because Demarcus is great but with the likely departure of Robinson, Kupp and Tutu, that’s a lot of void in the receiving room. They must like Whittington more than we realize. Maybe they trust Tyler Johnson too?
I’ve been looking at the receivers in the draft and it doesn’t seem to be a very deep position.
Sorry. I should have read through the posts first. I’ll delete mine. I had the same idea. Trade the Rams first round pick, plus more (it likely takes a little more) for Higgins and sign him to a short term deal and a guarantee not to franchise him.I am wondering with the draft being a bit weak at the top, does Les revert back to his old ways and offer our #1 for a player like Tee Higgins? Maybe you get a pick back as well.
I am sure they look at it as their #1 is not really a #1 the caliber of what they had last year in that draft.
So would you do a deal for Higgins straight up for #26 or maybe for #26 and you get back a 4th? Maybe even a 3rd?
Maybe the draft compensation is much lower due to the new contract he is due as teams may not want to give him the big contract. Heck maybe the Rams likely wouldn't do it for that contract reason.
However, with Stafford on board it puts more emphasis on this year and maybe 26'. So Higgins gives you a 25 yr old plug & play big time WR. Would make sense to go after it now with Stafford, Hav, and Higbee coming back.
Package a couple of 6th's to move up and grab Tuten. Not sure how much his combine increased his value, but I've seen 4th-5th round. Perfect change of pace back and returner with blazing speed.I like what the Rams have at RB with Williams, Corum and Rivers. Maybe use a 6th round pick on someone for a returner and see if he develops into a viable RB in a year or so.
I do like most of this offseason. Signing Alexander could be huge and worth it, just think Les might be hesitant to do that with the miserable failure of White last year.
I think we would be in a dire situation with this offseason not really addressing WR. As Memphis alluded to, Smith might have the worst hands in the draft. And didn't run as fast as I expected him too. I'd pass on him altogether and address a WR earlier.
I take it that means we may let Alaric Jackson walk? I'm not so sure about that decision.
I'm thinking she might want to adjust her mock now that we resigned Jackson. Yes, still need a RT of the future, but for this year, not in the 1st I wouldn't think.
OK, I see now. I checked before I posted to be sure whether you mentioned him or not. I didn't scroll down far enough.TEs? I cut Parkinson at the top of the post,
