Look What Jalen Ramsey Just Tweeted

Well...

1) he can't say anything prior to an announced deal as that could be construed as tampering

2) he just said that it wasn't about a Rams move. Ramsey's agent is Watson's agent and I'm SURE he was informed pretty quickly about the deal... when you blow past the guaranteed record by $80M... that's major.

3) I think we got one more set of eyeballs coming... soon...

3/17/21 You Called and Left This Message

Just found this on your temporal voice mail system:

"Hey buddy! It's me... March 17, 2021 you. How's it going? Must be great, basking in the glow of that championship. I just wanted to call and remind you of a few things that I don't know. I don't know that the Rams will successfully solidify the offensive line entirely from players already on the roster. I don't know that Cam Akers will get injured, that the Rams will trade for Sony Michel to replace him, and that Cam will return for the playoffs. I don't know who the Rams will draft. I don't know that the Rams will acquire Von Miller, OBJ and Eric Weddle (REALLY? Eric Weddle?) as they make a championship run. I guess the point is... imagine what you DON'T know right now. Anyway... have a great offseason wearing that championship gear. I'm so jealous!"

That was such a unbelievable ride. I am glad I am old enough, and wise enough, to enjoyed it.

It’s going to be hard to top 2021 Rams in my lifetime. It had everything. It was WHACK!

Rams New Offensive Coordinator - Liam Coen

Harris is a freak. You can bet this staff is going to have a strong plan to get him featured in this offense.

Might not work out either btw. But if it does then suddenly you have two big and uncoverable guys as 1-2 threats in the pass game in Kupp/Robinson followed by a young freak hitting his stride in year two vs third corners and safeties.

Yeah, other than hoping Rochelle hits, Harris is my 1A.

Holy cow, if Harris can maximize his talents on the field... wow.

DWill headed to J'Ville

Morris deserved the questions he received around here. He had a lot to prove last season. There were some who were hating on the guy but outside of that I think most of the concerns were fair.

I'm eager to see how he evolves into year two of putting his stamp on this defense. Also eager to see if the Rams can find a couple bargain basement vets to round out the OLB and CB rooms. Thinking they add Fowler for example but we'll see.

And I hope the draft focuses on defense. Morris had a loaded unit last season but this year he's going to be able to shape more of the roster.

I’ll totally disagree & to blame him was freaking silly around here.Questioning is another thing. He didn’t always make the right calls & have the best game plans.
Raheem Morris is & was a perfect fit for The Rams.I in fact was extremely happy Staley went to SD.Who he might have a Top Defense there.I just think Morris is the better coach.
Either way I also think he does a good job at finding players & talent.
This season having Olsen & Cohen is
going to be WAY better than Kevin O’Connell as OC. My hope is if not that Ram Fans will pay Cohen all that Hate, Morris received last season.

Freaking funny The Rams win the SuperBowl with Raheem Morris as the DC. I liked that stat for all the doubters & Haters.

Watson to ATL Rumors

Yeah, isn’t it great!?! Knee jerk reaction to the Stafford trade.

YES!!! The moment they paid 3 #1s to move up for Lance, I was giddy... why? The ONE thing they were out of now was the Watson race and I couldn't be happier.

Watson with Kyle Shanahan would be dangerous... basically a better Kaepernick and we saw how a competent coach could use Kaep...

Steve Smith on Baker Mayfield

Is the problem Baker or Cleveland? Jared Goff did well under McVay but is looking to be a consistent loser at Detroit, like Stafford was.

The team you get drafted by plays a HUGE role in your success or lack of. Jerry Rice is not a HOFer if drafted by Cleveland or Detroit.

There are exceptions of course.

My guess to the answer of your question is BOTH. It’s gotta be Baker AND Cleveland. That's a terrible combination any way you look at it.

If not Von... plans B, C, D, etc.

Well AD is contemplating retirement obviously from what he's said, and to quote him he said he'll come back if we bring back Von, OBJ, and everyone back. Having Von next to him is the first elite, HOF level pass rusher he's played beside his entire career. So if Von signed for 3-4 years, its fair to believe AD would play with Von as long as he could. Without Von I'm not saying AD retires right now, but he certainly could next year or the year after. And once the AD era is over, I think McVay leaves shortly after. Thats just my opinion. McVay out of his mouth said he wants to take a break and go to the announcer booth. I just hope Von leaving isn't the first domino to fall in this sequence of events. But it could be. If Von stayed I would say our window with McVay/AD was AT LEAST 4 more years. Now no one can say but I'd honestly bet thats the most we'll get if we're being optimistic.
Just for context, AD and most of the team was totally shit faced when he said that, right?

I haven’t seen any interviews since he sobered up with him talk retirement.

Rams Tag (kicker) Matt Gay with original-round tender

Matt Gay was money. Only the Bucs playoff game was a bad game but that's only because we blew a huge lead in the 4th quarter.
Lets not sugar coat this one. Gay was money all year but, it was only a close game that we had to win at the end because he came up way short on a 47 yard field goal. If hurt then ok, if not what's up with that?

Pass Rushers always make a big splash in NFL free agency

The 2022 free agent market for the top-rated Edge/OLB pass rushers always command big paychecks from the teams that eventually pay for their services.
