Well, there was that preseason of 2014.....the reason everyone thought Quick had a chance to improve was the way he was playing in the preseason with Bradford. And Bradford was looking pretty damn good too...People forget how good the offense looked in preseason 2014...with Bradford... I know, it was a small sample...

I'd like o see him back for one more go. He was getting it together before his injury. I think it's unfair to judge him off this season without a full training camp ad offseason conditioning programme. Give him that and let him compete this year. No excuses after this.

The Rams should be major players for the top receivers in FA
I don't think any 'Top Receiver' FA's would want to come to the Rams if it is perceived We don't have a decent QB that can get them the Ball on time!!

Really?
They have Kelvin Benjamin coming back, and with Norwood and Finches, I'm not sure

Here are the Panthers who have receptions this year:

In addition to Benjamin, Stephen Hill was also on year long IR. Norwood is not listed as being injured but has no catches. I like his fit with their system and their receivers coach. I do agree that it would be harder to make than Cleveland,

Well, first of all, I see us drafting WR among our first 3 picks. And that WR will be our new #1. Might take half a season to fully surpass Britt, but it will happen.

Britt will be our #2.

Austin will continue to be our valuable gadget threat.

A newly drafted TE will supplant Cook as a receiving threat.

So what to do with Quick? I favor signing an outside but proven FA. We need to win now. Fisher damned sure knows he needs to win now.

After 4 years, Quick is too iffy for me. A min contract with incentives makes some sense. But an inexpensive FA contract makes even more to me. That roster spot needs to be at least reasonably productive when called upon.

Cook's injury was unfortunate, but 4 years is a long time to wait for a return on that draft investment. Time to move on..

I say we wait until after FA the draft and then decide if we wanna bring him back on a 1 year vet-min. There's no need to rush it with him and I doubt some other team is gonna go and pay him money. If sign an outside receiver, we don't sign him. If we draft one or two WRs we get rid of him.

Quick only gets a chance next year if we NEED him to get a chance.

I would like for the Rams to sign him for a minimum, let him fight for a spot in TC and preseason. Having a decent QB to not only see him open, but get it to him helps. But I have to wonder, If we get a new OC, will Quick be able to learn a new playbook and be effective right away?

Not trying to pile on, but I have always struggled with the "T. O. " comparison. Quick is the lightest looking 220lb. guy I have ever seen. He has the waistline of a 12 year old boy. He has very little leverage and often and easily is thrown off course. I wouldn't say he has stone hands, though.

Sorry to say, but Quick is a tease. I don't dislike the guy but he's never going to deliver what this team needs. It's hard for me to believe that 49 of you have not yet had enough of his BS...

Depending on what we do with the draft and FA, it's best to sign him a one-year deal for depth reasons. The injury he dealt with during the Chiefs game in 2014 looked like he needed more than a year to get back 100% but we'll see how it goes. He looked promising in his breakout season with Hill and Davis under center.

I don't think Quick makes an NFL roster so if he's going to try, why not try in St Louis

Time to cut bait. Quick shot himself in the foot when it took him 2 years to learn the playbook. The fact that he is in on a lot of snaps but not targeted much, means he either can't get separation, or the QB doesn't; trust him to make the catch.
