Quinn, if the game is really close, learn some in-game management or at least just pretend you know what you are doing and copy the millennial 50 yards across the field from you.

I like this one.

---------

coming into this season no one would have thought our offense would have fallen this hard with Sarkisian.
Things like that happen when you have a first year, first time NFL OC whose total previous NFL experience was 1 year as a QB coach over a decade ago.

That big graphic about career playoff starts is funny -- not just because it's limited to the NFC so that it can omit Big Ben and his 20 po starts and Little Tom and his 34 po starts, and not just because it ignores the fact that lots of QBs have got to the SB on their first trip to the playoffs -- but because it sidesteps the coaching experience disparity, which is probably more important. Wade has coached more playoff games for the Falcons this century than Sark has ever coached (2-0).

Yes, it's yet another Wade Phillips Revenge Game -- Yeah, the Falcons have talent and all that, but as we all painfully witnessed last year, talent without coaching doesn't mean a lot. I like our chances in this one.

The Falcons barely beat Seattle. It took a botched fake field goal and a missed field goal by Seattle to give the victory to Atlanta.

I like our chances.

if i remember that game correctly the falcons did their best to lose the game after a handy lead but the seagulls wouldn't let them.

The vast majority of Falcons fans seem quite arrogant.

as opposed to the vast majority of Rams Fans here?

Yep. I haven't noticed many of our fans disrespecting the Falcons like they have us. That's despite the fact that we have a better record and are the higher seed.

I am not going to argue with you, due to your propensity to drag things out to no end.

But can you honestly say, that you haven't seen any Rams fans disrespecting the Falcons as you mentioned?

Even you are better than that

Happy New Year

You forgot the "M." Otherwise, you're misrepresenting what I said.

Welcome to my world for this week. I don't plan to talk much. However, I have seen these trash-talking, "know-it-all" fans run their foolish traps before. And I have seen them completely humbled a few times . . . like last year after the SB, and back in 2010 when ARod and his Pack ended their playoff dreams in dominating fashion.

My policy now is the same as then: talk all the trash you want to talk now, 'cause you won't have squat to say when it's all over!!!

many: a large number, or the majority

I am not misrepresenting what you said. Almost every one here has said that the Rams will win next Saturday.

Tell me that isn't arrogance on our part.

i will, it is confidence in McVay and Goff, earned by a very good 11- 5 season, a season very much improved over last seasons ugly 4-12 record

Depends. I think there are more people here who didn't want to face the Falcons bc of their potential than not. I have seen a few people here that are overlooking the fact that this may be a harder win than they think, but those people seem to say that about every team we play. So i take it with a grain of salt. What ive seen here from the Falcons fans, they really are pretty clueless.

oh, don't get me wrong Train, I agree

but us calling another fan base arrogant is like the pot calling the kettle black, at least in my opinion

It's confidence. Arrogance is saying it will be without challenge, a blowout, a no contest or so easy we'd be resting our starters at half. To say I feel the Rams are a better team and have a very good chance to win this game is confidence. Vegas putting the Rams at a 6 point favorite is confidence. A Rams fan saying we should win by 20 is arrogance.

I said that I haven't noticed MANY of our fans disrespecting the Falcons like they are us. Your response used the word ANY. That's not the same thing. However, rather than arguing semantics, I'll get to my point. Here's the first page of our ATL/Rams thread:
http://ramsondemand.com/threads/playoffs-falcons-rams-it-is.53020/

Reading through it, there are as many Rams fans saying it's no sure thing as Rams fans calling it an easy win. That's not true of Atlanta. Yes, any fan-base of a playoff team is going to be overconfident, but I think we're a lot more realistic than they are.

let me start with a clean slate here folks

arrogant by definition means having confidence in ones own importance or ability

As I said above, I believe the Rams will wins Saturday also. Does that make me arrogant? yes.. but doesn't give me the right to call out another fanbase as being arrogant and say we are not

Definition of arrogance
: an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or in presumptuous claims or assumptions

You're leaving a lot out in your description.
