I don't know that I agree with this^ statement. We did pretty well against Seattle and Tampa Bay and their QB's are Pretty mobile!o_O
Wilson wasn't his usual self but I will say we have made a living as a successful defense vs mobile QB's in recent years. What worries me more than Tyrod ( whom I really like ) is shady going off on us. If we have any proven weakness in recent years is giving a huge game to an established back to make the difference in the game.

I think Shady tries to run up the middle too much, and IF he tries that with the Rams he's going to run right into Donald and Brockers!!(y)(y);):D--"Shady :death:!"

Dude we've been gashed up the middle. I guess we've fixed that not taking into account the whiners game!

What's funny is that a big part of their definition of what they call becoming a good team, is winning on the road....Umm..like we just did the last two weeks? lol. I have tempered my normal inside troll responses, because I know I talk similarly about other teams like, they did about us!

As for the game Sunday, I expect the Rams will show the guts they have shown since the MNF debacle. There is no stat for mental toughness, except for hard fought wins. I see that Gurley will get more active in the passing game, and will also break off some large runs. They may think they travel well, but this is a special year for the Rams and it's fan base...90000 plus will be at the good ole Coliseum, and it will be rocking! The game will be close all game, but our defense will come up with a key stop/turnover, and the score will end up being a 10 point win by the Rams.

Rams Chat

By reputation they are a more than solid D however they have failed to prove so in half the game this year

Look at their stats, the scores, the yards given up, especially in the air, and you will agree their D is not playing up to the reputation

We can score against them, in two of their games so far this year, the opposing teams scored plenty of points
---------
We need to rewatch the Jets game every day to remind us no game is easy.
The rams are 3-1. you better be ready to play a 3-1 team.
---------
As others have correctly said we need to stop Gurley first....I know he's off to a slow start but we must shut down their run immediately.....then we can blitz Keenum and man up on Austin & Britt....
---------
I'm gonna be at the coliseum this Sunday and I'm pumped. LA has a good defense like the Bills do. LA doesn't have a good offense and Keenum has been the lowest rated QB among qualified starters. The Bills need big plays and a lead.
-------
They got 90,000 people to go to a preseason game. We get about 620 people at ours
--------
Didn't the Rams trade places with Buffalo a few years back to move up to get Austin and Buffalo ended up with EJ and Kiko? Austin looked very explosive against Arizona. I kept thinking that they reminded me of the Bills; Hard hitting defense and hard grinding Offense. Special teams looked good to. Should be a very good test for the Bills.
-------
Aaron Donald becomes the best defensive player in football now that Watt is out. Wood and Miller will have their hands full.
------
DON134977.png

This guy went 13th in 2014. Stays healthy, he'll be one of the best that ever played the position.
--------
Rams are a team of a few very distinct and obvious strengths and many weaknesses.

They are extremely dangerous on special teams, and are extremely dangerous on the defensive line. People think their entire defense is good but it really isn't. The defensive line however is so good that it can mask their deficiencies in the secondary.

Offensively they are just ....bad
Gurley is a very talented individually but teams are just selling out against the run. Their Oline is average at best, their quarterback and wide receivers are lackluster. Tavon Austin is overrated as a receiver but is very fast and good in special teams roles.

The Rams have certainly played above their talent level, and though it is hard to believe they are 3-1, it shows they are spirited and opportunistic.

The way I see it:
Passing: Bills
Running: Near Even
Oline: Bills
ST: Rams
Dline: Rams
LB: Near Even
Secondary: Bills
---------
The Rams have allowed almost 500 yards more than their opponents while being outgunned in every game and they have a minus point differential.

Like I have said all along, the Bills just need to remain FOCUSED and the rest could take care of itself.
---------
The Bucs hung 32 offensive points on these guys 2 weeks ago. Their defense is good, but it's not that good. They remind me a lot of some Bills teams that got off to good starts only to be exposed. If this Bills team is for real they'll take care of business on Sunday.
---------
I live in St. Louis, so I know the Rams very well.

Their team is very similar to the Bills. They have plenty of talent on the roster, but have generally been held back by poor QB play (sound familiar?). Their best players are on the defensive line and at running back (sound familiar?). They seem to follow up big wins against very good opponents with losses to beatable ones (sound familiar?). They finish every season around the .500 mark (sound familiar?).

Obviously their weakest position is QB with Case Keenum. The guy is actually playing pretty well right now, but I'm not sure how long that can last. He may be due for a stinker.

The Bills have done a great job against the run this year. But they can't let up next week. Todd Gurley has the ability to break one at any minute.

The biggest test is going to be stopping Aaron Donald. He has moved into JJ Watt territory and has the ability to single-handedly take over a game. We need to have a plan to keep Tyrod moving away from him.
--------
I am terrified of Aaron Donald. Incognito and Wood haven't exactly been stellar this year, and McCoy couldn't block if his life depended on it. Doesn't really bode well against the best DT in football (I'm pretty sure we are there now-he is the best DT in football)
---------
A couple of interesting tidbits to keep in mind about this game:

- Case Keenum is one of 5 QB's to have a 6-2 record since week 14 last year. (No he's not a great QB but he's doing just enough behind good defensive play).
- Rex Ryan hasn't won 3 games in a row since 2011. Rams are currently riding a 3 game winning streak including division wins against the Cards and Seahawks.
- Rams offense is dead last in the NFL in terms of yards per game, Bills only slightly better at 28th overall
- Aaron Donald is currently the top overall graded player in the entire NFL by PFF.
- Rams only lost 3 home games last year (albeit in STL) and 2 of them were against playoff teams (Cards, Steelers).

What does it all mean? This is going to be very difficult game to win IMO and the Bills can't afford a let down and not show up in the 1st half. They need to play with intensity from start to finish just like the last two games and if they do that will have a great shot of winning.
--------
I still can't believe the Rams are 3-1 with victories over Seattle and Arizona with Case Keenum. I can't believe this team is for real in ANY stretch of the imagination. Only worried about losing because hey, lets be honest its the Bills and I never get my hopes up anymore.
--------
This is going to be one of the hardest fought games of the season. Their defense is legit. Our OL better bring the hammer with run blocking to limit how often their defense can really get after us in the passing game.

Hopefully their D gets too aggressive & we can make them pay with screens & misdirections.

The quick passing game has to be on point also.

Against Russell I would agree but he was hurt. Not sure giving up 400 yards to Winston should be labeled as good my friend. But just my opinion

One of them was with less than two minutes to go and the Rams just wanted the cards to use their timeouts. Another was the last play of the game. So in reality they had three turnovers to work with.

.

Still even a field goal or two like Lee said. Three turnovers and zero points is still not good.

What scares me most about this game is that Blaine Gabbert was very effective in running against our defense. He's not gonna go for 20+ yards, but he had good runs when they needed it.

Tyrods probably gonna run on our defense too. We have to limit the big plays.

Buffalo points against results look remarkably similar to the Rams results,
They've given up 0, 13, 18 and 37 points in games
Rams have scored 0, 9, 17 and 37

Rams just need to open up a little can of offense and put these Bills dicks in the dirt on defense.
First team to 20 points wins.
I sure hope Fisher has this team focused and prepared. If not...we all know how this game might go.

Score first, score early, get a 7-10 pt lead and let the D tee off and make plays.
I haven't looked at any numbers but IIRC the Rams are a team that's hard to overtake and beat when we're playing with a decent lead on the scoreboard (7-14 pts). I remember the Dallas melt down a couple years ago. Anyone got any numbers on that? Am i wrong?

Found this: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/blown_leads.htm
Blown leads...

21 pts vs Dallas 2014
Lost 34-31

14 pts vs San Francisco 2014
Lost 31-17

These are the only two games listed under the Fisher regime. FWIW

None of the turnovers led to points if I recall correctly. The O got the points by themselves on different drives.
unless the FG was a TO...and I think it was....The second score was triggered by Tavon's punt return...
