If I learned anything from this game, it's that the Seahawks are highly overrated. That was the worst case of a team beating themselves that I have ever witnessed. If we are remotely competent the rest of the way, we should still win this shitty division.

That said, Sammy Watkins has me pissed. He was hardly trying today. He ran half-ass routes all day. I don't even want a guy like that on this team.

Let's remember this is McVay's first year, and overall it's been pretty damn impressive thus far. Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed. I hate Seattle and they didn't deserve the win. We beat ourselves. We just need to grow from this game and move on. We're 3-2. We will and MUST grow from this. Period. When we're on our A-game, I think we're unstoppable. We were clearly on our D game and still almost won it.

I'm not feeling great about the return from the second round pick we lost for Sammy Watkins. He's been mostly invisible sans one game.

This is the first game where I find myself agreeing with those who have said it was a waste of a pick to get Sammy. It's only one game, granted, but he got busted a couple times just going through the motions.

Far as I'm concerned have him warm up the bench right next to Mo.

I’m stepping back and looking at this logically.

We got every bad break possible and still had a chance to win in the end.

Kupp has officially replaced Austin on punt returns. This is very good news.

If not for the Gurley and Austin fumbles...we blow the Seahawks out of the stadium. But good play by Wilson wore out our pass rush in the second quarter.

McVay is a smart man...Austin will not be featured going forward except on fly sweeps. That’s exactly where he belongs.

That was a rocket that Kupp had to stretch to get hands on but an inch away from being close enough to secure. I actually thought they both did very well on that play in spite of the result. Frankly, Goff did his job on that final drive and I’m encouraged.

Our defense looked as good as I expected them to in this game. The two picks were tremendous signs of growth

Way too many mistakes and still had a change to win it in the end

The perfect kicker missed

The guy with the best hands dropped a game winning td

They still showed poise and goff played great on that last drive !

As bad as they played, we still had a shot at the end. This team is for real!
This was their stinker I hope. Too many turnovers although Seattle earned 2 of the 5. Dumb and frequent defensive penalties. Just missed the opportunity to lay 30 on these bastages.
We came within a Kupp of winning it in the end.
I'm not ready to throw in the towel. They didn't hang their heads and quit. Just one of those games.

Yeah.. Gurley stepped out of bounds before the fumble the refs blew that one.

Nah, it was pretty clear that the ball was moving before he stepped out of bounds. It was the right call.

Sloppy execution and coaching on the offense today.

Still can't believe we put Austin back in to return punts after his first one...

Could have, should have, would have... I'm ready for next week.

I am no longer sure of that. When it comes to Tavon it seems that McVay is determined to learn the hard way.

So I hope you're right.

Tough to win when you turn the ball over 5 times

McVay has already dumped Tavon from the punt return unit. Malcom Brown will get Austin’s touches in the backfield. Bet

Also.. we gotta play better at home.
Can they really consider it a home game ? I saw tons of Hags jerseys and Russell Wilson raising his hands to get the crowd up on the last play is not home field advantage. Pretty dissapointing

I suggest a sixth haha. Yeah, it sucked. But I saw it the first time they showed the replay... "fuck, that's a touchback."

It doesn't matter tho. I knew we were screwed when GZ missed a 36 yarder.

It seems like after the fumble by Gurley McVay decided not to use him Goff with almost 50 passes against the Seahawks is not how you beat them
I am so pizzed at McVay right now. The loss is on him as much as a stupid rule about the Gurley fumble. He threw away first downs on plays that were not close to working time after time. IF the plan had been to come out and pound the ball with Todd Gurley, or pass to him about 50% more, we would have won this game. Instead I get to hear that SONOFA Heath Evans gloat about how this is still the Hawks division, when it is apparent they are frauds.

This is the worst I have felt after a loss since Super Bowl 36.

We left....20(?) points off the board there.

Damn refs/Gurley/suspect rule interpretation on the first drive.
Damn Tavon for the muffs
Damn GZ for picking a hell of a time for his first miss.
Damn Goff for high screen passes.
Damn refs for still not understanding what holding is.
Damn Whitworth for a hell of a time to give up a first sack.
Damn Kupp for not making the game winning catch.
Damn McVay for forgetting to how run the Gurley up the middle.

Good job D for keeping us in this.
Good job line for keeping Goff clean most of the game.
Good job Higbee coming down with some good catches.
Good job Tavon for a great TD.
Fucking great job Goff for driving 75 yards down the field in a minute, and throwing the (should have been) game winner right on point.

On a night where everything that could go wrong for the offense/special teams....I'm really just more disappointed than angry.

Edit: Almost forgot - Damn Sammy Watkins for the disappearing act, and stopping on a route after you got behind the D.

Seahags can't stop the run. Goff throws 50 passes. Um what.

What happened to Gurley?
