Don't wish any ill will towards him, but I certainly can't stand the Vikings though.

Non-contact injury... and it's serious enough for an ambulance etc ? :shocking:

We'll miss TeddyH20, but we'll play good football with Sean Mannion...Two first rounders were worth it..

This is why I think the Rams and Eagles were smart with their off-season moves going into 2016.
There's no such thing as too much QB depth going into a season.

Both teams know first hand where the opposite path leads.
If Goff/Wentz never see the field in 2016, so be it.

This is insane. All I can think is a staff infection that wasn't caught in time.

One of the comments on NFL.com:

"If it's bad, the Vikings need to trade for Mannion from the rams right now. Hill/Stave are NOT the answers... I just hope its something short term, a blip on the season."

Not a Vikes fan at all, but man I feel for those guys and their fans. I still remember the sinking feeling when it was confirmed that Sam had torn his ACL - again - in 2014, right as we seemed to be primed for a winning season.

The football gods are some cruel motherf---ers.

Very sad. Likeable guy. Really hope its overblown and he's ok. But how come he needed an ambulance for an ACL? How bad can it be?

That sounds like a heck of a lot possible damage for a non-contact injury...did this happen on the new field?...remember the "other" Curt Warner when he blew out both knees on the old Kingdome rug....The reports are starting to sound a lot like Oregon's Pharroh Brown's injury a couple of years ago at Utah....I hope it's not that serious even though, I too, like a previous poster, can't stand their whinny b!tch of a coach.
