Same drive. Burgess center screen as the nickel next to Jones.

At the snap he drops, he's got the TE who is about to delay-release into an out:

You can see him far left screen, as the TE releases he takes a second to recognize it

Pass on target, now he's gotta make the stop

It's hard to imagine this guy making the team when we have so many other good options at safety

Two assumptions from me just looking at stat sheets.

Based on targets, they are really forcing the TuTu gonna be a reciever thing. Targets crammed his way for gsme experience. Though his true initial value may be returning kicks.

Jacob Harris may have made it to pre season protected status. Limited snap counts the last 2 and a few are assuming he’s got alot to learn, and of course he does, but I think he’s made it into McVay’s playmaking imagionation.
Without a doubt. I get the caution with him. He's got a lot to learn but the guy is a mismatch vs just about every LB or Safety who draws him. It's gonna be fun seeing this guy grow into a beast.

I was extremely impressed with Anchrum, going against a great Denver defense and more than holding his own.

Unfortunately, since the Rams lost, I now owe Ted Drewes for my brother and nephew.

OL and DL played well that first half against several Bronco starters.

Our OL did look pretty shabby in the 4'th quarter, though.

Our Defense held the Broncos offense to 17 points after they had scored 30 or more points in their two previous pre-season games.

Against 2’s and 3’s?

5 receptions 31 yards? :laugh4: :explode1:

We’ll see when the season comes.
The donkeys played their 1st and 2nds including starting CBs the first half. So at that point, he was playing against their starters. Not sure why you have such a hard on for TuTu.
Tutu's head is spinning lol. Early in that third down in the redzone on that first drive you see him sit down then do nothing. If he had scramble drilled to the corner it would have either drawn a DB (and allowed Perkins space to run) or led to a TD for the rook.

Here he sits down and isn't sure what to do from there:

You mean X running out of bounds to take himself (the likely decoy/target) utterly and completely out of the play gets no mention yet TuTu sitting on a spot is the problem on that play?

Yeah... Don't buy it.
Know where that first down marker is Tutu...

Runs out of bounds a yard shy.

Sorry. Again, I think you're misplacing your finger pointing Merlin. I thought the same thing at first but when I rewatched the replay, the pass placement seemed to carry him back and out of bounds. Put on the other side, he can go forward.

I'm not saying he's a problem. I'm saying his head is spinning. That he's going to need time. Not worried about X because I think he's going to be cut, and if not he's still not going to be a primary weapon in this offense ever. But Tutu will.

Basically I think you're reading intent where it's not there. I'm just demonstrating that Tutu is still in that learning mode due to lost camp time. There's no agenda here or attack or anti-Tutu BS going on here. In fact I have never been a Tutu criticizer even for the record.

The conversation was that TuTu had performed well so far in the preseason, when we were discussing that it was still around the 1st to 2nd qtr. Mind you he didn’t do anything like he did in the 2nd half against non starters so I digress.

And the reason I have such a hard on for him his we drafted a midget that chances are will be on the injury report rather than actually drafting somebody that’s making a difference in our starting units.

I find some of these grades to be comical:laugh3:
Actually I agree with some of those grades.

Not sure about Jackson and Brewer being that high but the others were fairly close to how I thought they played.

Remember I mentioned during the game that the Broncos started playing better on offense when Gervais and Harris (CB) were in the game.

Jacob Harris doesn't really deserve his grade because his targets were during the last drive and Perkins failed to get the ball close to him other than the time he was arm guarded.

And he only had 6 plays between the 20s

Nah. I wasn't thinking you had an agenda. I was just not seeing what you saw on those plays. Even though I agree with you that X likely won't see any snaps, him going out of bounds on that play completely removes the real option there. Still, that play was probably not going anywhere.

The stats you quoted were while the 1s and 2s were in.

But the real problem I have is that people are bagging on TuTu and seemingly casting negativity in hopes they will be proven right that the Rams should have taken a Center. So the kid is getting shit on even though he's a Ram, in the name of some twisted self satisfaction.

The guy is a Ram. Get over it. If you don't want to acknowledge anything he does right, that's fine I suppose. But twisting things to put him down? Lame.

So you're pissed off about what may happen?
First of all, blame McSnead, not Tutu, and second, no guarantees your guy works out either.

Jesus. He's a Ram, is playing well, and we need him (to replicate what we had in Cooks), and btw, so far looks pretty durable.
So quit whining.

Cheers.

Man, I don't even really know who tf John Daka is lol. But I can't disagree with most of these grades. I really am liking Jackson these last couple of games. Can't speak for Brewer, didn't notice him that much which isn't a bad thing. Otis Anderson got a nice chance with Jones injury for him to have some tape for other teams... with Jones injury he might get a practice squad look from us until he's healthy. Not sure Kiser did THAT well though. Bottom five defense I'd agree with for sure. It's disappointing how bad Lawler has been the last couple of games compared to the first. Howard, Harris, and Gervase were just down right bad.

Daka has made some plays and I like his game. But they've all been in scrub time. You do need to consider who these guys are going against too. Teams are gonna do that even if PFF doesn't.

Howard to the practice squad makes more sense than cutting Kiser, who has looked great at times in real action.

I would like to see Anchrum playing Guard on a regular basis but he might be the best RT we have on the team, even if it’s not his best position. He’s a keeper
