I'm not convinced that Foles is done but I do think that both him and Mannion are the kind of QBs that need good protection or their games fall apart. Not sure why I think that about Mannion as we haven't seen him play but it seems logical.

Maybe this is me just hoping to see my boy succeed but a QB that can read the defense and process quickly can often make it look like he has more time by frustrating the defense with hot reads and knowing where to move in the pocket. I think Mannion can do that and his slightly exaggerated throwing motion will not be a big issue. He can make the throws and is very smart. No QB can look good behind a hideous O-line performance. But many can make a line look better by making the heady calls and plays.

I like the win. We needed it. That been said. Gurley needs to get the ball more! That was where Cignetti screwed up. This kid is strong down the stretch. But this is a celebration. Oh BTW.... I don't want a QB w/ our first pick. There will be some solid vets after this year. Get a steady hand and let the young ones rip.

Oh one more thing.... Aaron Donald rules!.......and Tru......holding Megatron to a single late catch.......:yess:

Roberson continues to flash lots in every game he plays, but also gives up plays from time to time. You have to wonder if that is mostly due to youth and inexperience. He has already improved a great deal. It makes you think that with more growth and development get could be a very solid starting corner. The dude was touted as having top 50 talent in the draft, but injuries saw him passed up. With us getting E.J. Gaines back next season, I'd be comfortable letting one of Jenkins or Johnson go if their contract demands are unreasonable. I'd much prefer to keep both. But not at the cost of a contract that handcuffs the team's cap situation.

I'd say that was a pretty entertaining 2nd half. I love how TG is all about getting in the end zone. This kid is going to will us some wins.

Oh - and the O-line didn't look bad either. Fun game to watch.

Winning is something teams have to learn how to do through actually doing it. Overcoming adversity (e.g., lots of significant injuries) is something else a team must learn to do by actually doing it. Today the Rams did both. That is not meaningless and does help us in the future.

Amen, Brother. AMEN!!!

Somebody correct but I've seen a couple people say they were happy Gurley got his 1,000 yards.
He had 835 yards to start the day and rushed for 140.
How is that 1,000?
that's 975..
Unless I missed something we get to watch him get it on Thursday night football.

Was reading on Twitter it might have been his only only NFL game work out a catch.. They should have blanketed him lol

Let's not forget about the great job Hekker did pinning Detroit deep in their own end!

I think JJ is gone next year unless we seriously overpay him. You can tell with his comments that he is frustrated with the offense. Make him a reasonable offer but don't break the bank. He will probably get big money from another team, and that's ok. If we focus on keeping Tru and Barron, we should be just fine. E.J. will be back, Joyner looks good and Roberson's getting more experience.

This was the kind of win Fisher envisioned we'd see a lot when he drafted all those linemen and Gurley. Great game by the running back and solid defense. It hasn't happened enough because of the passing game.

We got a glimpse of what they're capable of if they just get better at OL, QB and WR. The quarterback play today was not that good. But Gurley did his thing and the defense did its thing. Against a pretty good quarterback and a good run defense.

Thats the kind of team Fisher wants to build. In 2008 his Titans won 13 games and his quarterback Kerry Collins only threw for 12 TD's and 7 INT's in 15 starts. But he had Chris Johnson as a rookie. And he had Lendale White. They were 7th in rushing and had 24 rushing TD's. The defense was also top ten.

So there you have it. A top ten defense. A top ten rushing attack. An offense that was 14th in scoring and 2nd in rushing TD's. I can understand why Fisher wants to build that type of team. It can win. But he really should learn to evolve and put more emphasis on passing.

Great team win....Like some have said, winning is a culture...So is losing.... I never HOPE for losses. I base it on how they play and either expect a loss or a win...We had been playing poorly so....
I love how TG is all about getting in the end zone.
Watching Todd Gurley go up for his 1st TD...That guy wants to win..He wants it...so hoping these guys lose, would kill players like Gurley, Tavon, Donald, Tru....and a bunch of others out there...Playing their hearts out...and would bleed into next year. The worst thing for this team this year was the losing streak at the end of 2014....

So...celebrate Gurley...Donald...Tavon...even Cook...the O-Line...and Keenum...and Boras....Celebrate Tru (yes we need to keep Tru & Jenkins)....Celebrate the secondary for making some good tackles, Barron is a real beast....the rest of the front 7 meh...too many rushing yards....but some great performances.
Look at that guy Bradley Marquez.....boy....I'll take 3 more of those.

Winning is hard fellas....learning how to change a losing culture is harder...If we continue to lose, we'd probably have to get rid of 90% of the team....I get the high draft pick hype...I'm a Lakers fan....But if we want something...go get it....If not, draft wisely....Goff is probably not gonna be there...Lynch either...maybe thats a good thing....probably not. If the FO feels that's our player, they better go and get him....I'll hope for wins, but to me, you grade guys future on money games... The game at Seattle will tell you who needs to be here, and who needs to get the hell outta the Lou....
