I have heard both calf and an ankle injury from several sources.

The compromise is the Achilles unfortunately. Which is considered an ankle injury although it is connected to the calf and calcaneus.

I think it is good news if he was walking on it at all. Boot or not.

Could mean a strain and not a complete tear which I can't see him walking in a boot with that extremely painful injury.

Yea I’d think so. My understanding is walking boot is for foot/ankle injuries. I think if it was a calf issue he’d be on crutches to not put any weight on it

Edit: nvm, according to tweet above me guess I’m wrong there
