Jenkins Or Tru will be replaced by Gaines.
Like @lockdnram21 said Gaines can maybe replace Tru, not Jenks. Also, we don't know how he will come back from injury.

Barron is scheme specific so we will get a friendly deal with him.

We don't know that. He is playing out of his mind right now and if he keeps it up, will probably want a pretty good sized contract.

Robinson showing progression?

Yes he is. Are you watching the games?

A premium pick is often Jason Smith or Greg Robinson. How's that look compared to Thomas?

Premium 1st round picks have netted us Brockers, Austin, Donald, and Gurley under fisher. Robinson is in his second year and although he has struggled early, he IS showing progress.

Come on let's get real kids.

Thomas is 30 years old. Robinson is in his second year at 23 years old. Ill keep the 1st rounder and a young player full of potential. THAT is as real as it gets.

I'm not in favor of giving up anything for him or spending cap when we have plenty of in house talent to keep so answer would have been no.

I think we should try adding a new oline coach and see how that works out. I mean, how much "potential" has been lost due to coaching?

I think coach Bou is doing a good job. Most of our O-line problems have come from injury (Wells, Long, Saffold). Let the young guys develop.

Here's an excerpt From SI.

As you can see in every picture but the 48-yarder against the Browns, you have to give the Rams’ offensive line a lot of credit as well on those big plays. The unit has had their problems: Gurley’s 25.5% of stuff runs (gaining one yard or less outside of the opponent’s five-yard line) is mostly their issue, though it must be pointed out that among the best backs, only Bell, DeMarco Murray and Chris Johnson have a lower stuff percentage. But Gurley’s pretty much getting what’s blocked for him. So on those big runs, LT Greg Robinson, LG Garrett Reynolds, C Tim Barnes, RG Jamon Brown (starter Roger Saffold had season-ending shoulder surgery two weeks ago) and RT Rob Havenstein should take a bow as well. That bodes well for the future of the Rams. Reynolds (28) and Barnes (27) are the oldest starters among that group. They’ll get better with time.

First off Gaines can only replace Tru because neither are in the same league as Jenkins. They better pay that man. As far as Robinson has gotten better. Especially in the running game. Hes still inconsistent in pass game but getting better. No way u give up a 1st let alone a 1st and a 2nd (thats what they said on tv) for a 31year old. Especially when we might have another Lt in Battle developing.

I wouldn't put any eggs in the Battle basket. The odds of a PS player developing into a shutdown LT are miniscule. It's more likely he develops into a decent 6th man.

I agree you don't give up a first and a second unless you're on the verge of winning a SB. You definitely don't do it when you will need a QB next year like the Broncos.

Robinson isn't the most consistent guy in any facet of playing LT.

Not likely! Plan on both Jenkins and Tru starting next year. Gaines will not have seen action for over a year...the Rams aren't banking on Gaines doing anything but getting back to where he was...for starters. He's not ready to even halfway fill the shoes of Jenkins or Tru.

The smartest thing a team can do is have good CBs and at a minimum a solid QB.
