People who don't think her looks warrant sexual harassment I think you misunderstand most harassment that happens. It's generally not about wanting to pursue a sexual relationship in any way as much as it is about men, and some women, who want to subjugate the victim or display their need for dominance over them. For a lot of men, that is perceived and displayed through sexual dominance, perceived prowess, or simple sexual degrading. Which can almost be directly translated into how a lot of men act towards other men too.

I think sexual harassment and sexual predatory tendencies get confused or blurred a lot of the time.

One of my kids went into the military and I'm talkin to her on the phone and she's got three different dudes in the barracks that won't take no for an answer. So I tell her "you gotta be firm and honest with dudes that you're not interested in" and of course she is doing just that but she's a cute thing and these guys proceed with the creeper behavior anyways.

It's hard for dudes to understand what that feels like I think. The non-stop nature of it is just nuts. In the Navy I'll still have to yoke up junior personnel for staring at even female leaders, it's part of the culture still that needs to change.
