We need a list of the smallest wideouts and RBs available so we can mentally prepare ourselves.

Detroit still has 2 2nd rd picks.

In my Mock Zack Charbonnet ( RB from TCU) is still there. The LT from Maryland is a player I like as well.
—Rams have to many needs.

Three OL sitting there with Schmitz Avila and Torrence. Ojulari Adebawore and Brents immediate starters on the D along with Brian Branch and Clark Phillips. Meyer, Washington and Downs as skill positions. Just please no RB or if it's a QB no Levis. I could with the board left see a trade back 5 or 6 spots and pick up a 4th that I think is an extremely likely scenario. A trade back with the Saints to #40 perhaps for their pick in the 4th #115 seems like a Snead move.

So frustrating to see Mayer still on the board knowing there’s no chance he’ll make it to 36.

the lions should be all over him.

.
If he even gets that far. Steelers dont need him, since they have Friermuth, but the effing Cards sure do since Ertz is way past his time.
But yeah, no way he gets past them.
Maybe Steelers would take a 5th rounder to swap spots?

It sucks to have so many positions of need but its also kind of nice not being pigeon holed into having to draft from only one or two positions of need.

There are so many picks that could make sense for us tonight.

Still, Les generally throws curveballs.

I know there is momentum on this board for a trade down (there almost always is) - would y'all take a trade down that gave us less than chart value? If so, how much less would you take?

I like the idea of nabbing a Tight End who can be a weapon in this offense - especially one that can block. I like Washington, obviously I like Mayer - but the thing is there are 6 or 7 tight ends right still on the board who can really help this team right away. I think round 3 may make more sense for a TE pick. There could be a run in round 2 and we miss all of them - but its not like its such a glaring need that we are screwed if we don't get one.

The Cards need a lot of positions.

If I was a sure fire NFL prospect, especially a talent like Mayer, it would be very deflating to me if the Cards drafted me.

I replied with a ‘don’t think so’ because I wouldn’t take a below value trade back. If anything, at 36 they should get above value return.

You are absolutely right about the curveballs though. I don’t watch the draft anymore because I get my hopes up and Snead keeps disappointing me with odd picks.

It is what I’ve come to expect.

Snead said it’s frustrating watching scouting film with McVay because he focuses on the scheme more than the player. Maybe Sean should not have so much say on picks.

I continue to be intrigued by the O Lineman that will be called tonight.

I know everyone likes the guards and center prospects - but I don't want to sleep on the tackles either. Hav is 30 years old. A dude like Dawand Jones would be a nice addition to this team.
