Reminds me of another injured Alabama lineman we drafted. Barret Jones. Not saying that happens with Dickerson. Just cant get the similarity out of my head

Both white guys who played center for Bama and had injury questions. I get that. But it ends there. 25-30 lbs of difference between the two.

In the end, its completely a medical question. If its iffy, go another way. If the light is green - then go.

Oh you are probably right. I am just superstitious

No argument, just want The Rams to be successful in this draft.

I will say 2020 draft was amazing to me. Could be McSneads best draft to date. Will be hard to repeat 6 to 7 valuable players in this draft.

Saturday night will be huge.Snead came up with a nice group of players on the defensive side, especially DT/DE.

The more tape I watch of Rondale Moore (particularly his injury free freshman season), the more I think McVay is probably salivating about his prospects in this offense. My question is, given his size, why is he not a RB? He's built like a RB and certainly runs like one after the catch. All that said, he could be very dangerous on this offense. When he was healthy, he looked like the most dynamic player in college (or amongst them at minimum).
Tyreek Hill II?

I'm not sure I get the love for Chazz Surratt. Has had major issues with missing tackles in college, graded out AWFUL at run defense AND coverage grade on PFF, is on lighter side, average athlete (for a NFL player). What does he do well? I'd rather just roll with what we have honestly unless we are getting him late.

One out of three aint bad right? :D I'd take Joseph but Dickerson I'm not touching until the 7th round his injury history is a hard pass. Like ILB I'm not sure we draft a TE.

I'm not sure I could hate a day 2 of the draft more :( Your first 2 picks I just don't think we draft at all.

The universe is speaking to me

Not sure its a name for tonight, but Anthony Schwartz feels like a fit here.

If we go CB at 57, Aaron Robinson feels like the guy.

I am also sensing that one of the 3 players we take tonight will be someone that we all have to look up because he wasn’t on anyone’s radar.

Freiermuth could be an absolute elite tight end, Bolton could be a physical upgrade from Kiser/Reeder, and Eskridge is someone I like a lot. I could see us take an offensive lineman in the third, but...yeah.

Can Bolton run with Russ, Murray, and Lance? We need LBs who can skitter more than we need LBs who can thump.

From what I've seen from him in the games he's played? Yes, he can. He looks awkward in running and coverage, but he more than gets the job done.

Praying he falls to 57 but doubt it given some teams have a 1st round grade on him. Also this tweet from RapSheet earlier is interesting. I bet he heard something about us and Dalman.

So we will likely go Edge/CB or trade down from 57. Which sucks because there will be some stud WRs available there but hard to see us using that pick on WR5. Which is why I wish we signed OL in FA and Edge instead of spending big $ on Floyd. Would've given us more flexibility in this draft.

Freiemuth would be an absolute luxury pick that I don't think McVay makes. We signed his boy DJax and have 4 WR deep room. He has drafted Hopkins last year and we still have Higbee. I get it he's good but our first pick of the draft on a position we don't need? We'll have 1 back 1 TE 3 WR on the field the majority of the time so unless he's writing off Hopkins or going to move on from Higbee it's a spot I can't see McVay valuing (yes we all know he does his own thing as is proof by not taking an OL on day 2 the last 2 years).

Howard is coming back and the Rams have yet to value ILB at all under McVay so Blanton to me seems one of the least likely picks any ILB. Just like OL we always think he's going to finally get a good one at ILB and he never does.

I like Eskridge but prefer other WR.

Every year we see the same things in our drafts.

Rams fans: "OH we need OL" McVay drafts one in the 7th round if he drafts one at all
Rams fans: "We need an ILB ours suck" McVay drafts one in the 6th or 7th round or just goes with UDFA
Rams fans: "We should get a fullback our offense would be elite with a good one" McVay laughs into his rose` wine
Rams fans: "McVay was great with TE as OC in Washington we need an elite one" McVay drafts a guy in the 4th who hardly sees the field.

Maybe the tiger changes his stripes this year but for the previous 4 years that's been the dance around here to a capital T.

Really not a fan of this mock from TDN:

Literally probably prefer 5 of the next 7 picks after we pick an old OT (24), who could probably play guard, but not center I don't believe. I like Christensen in the 3rd, not the 2nd.

Other than the Christensen draft pick, I love this mock scenario as it leaves us in perfect shape to trade down slightly as both Meinerz & Walker Little remain available into the 3'rd round. jmo.
