That better be about him being re-signed. Best secondary in the league if he is!

Secondary is going to be fuckin leet. Add a run stuffing ILB'er in FA, grab a NT some where, and draft like 8 OLB'ers and we'll be set.

Jordy is still the man. He averaged about 1400 yards and 12 tds during 2013, 14, and 16 and was about to put some more hurt on before Rodgers went down. He cant help it if he's downfield and Hundley cant get the ball to him because he cant read the coverage or buy time in the poscket or is running the ball or for his life. Jordy would make me forget abiut Sammy for a lot less money.

NT and ILB are definitely high priorities but getting whatever rushing help we can find at OLB is top of my list now. With the secondary we have now... my god the turnovers they will create with pressure should be off the charts. Need someone to come off the edge while AD is pushing the middle.

Los Angeles Rams re-sign CB Nickell Robey-Coleman
https://www.turfshowtimes.com/2018/...transactions-re-sign-nickell-robey-coleman-cb

In their first action in the free agency period, the Los Angeles Rams have re-signed Nickel CB Nickell Robey-Coleman to a 3 year deal per Ian Rapoport:

#Rams nickel CB Nickell Robey-Coleman has agreed to terms on a 3-year deal worth more than $15.75M, sources say, with $8M guaranteed. More firepower for a revamped LA secondary.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 13, 2018
This is a big get for a Rams secondary who continues to stack pieces. Robey-Coleman was one of the best CB’s in football, but more particularly as a Nickel CB. Pro Football Focus had him at a 84.9 grade, ranking him as the 19th best CB in the league.

That is a significant upgrade in pay for Robey-Coleman who initially signed with the Rams in 2016 for a tiny $855 thousand. The three year deal represents an average of $5.25 million per year.

What does his re-signing mean for the Rams? Well, their CB position is stacked. Newly traded for CB’s Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib will surely be starting outside, with Robey-Coleman starting in his Nickel position. This allows newly signed Sam Shields to operate as the fourth CB, which may be a positive considering his concussion history. Incumbent Kayvon Webster may ultimately be released as he now slides down the depth chart, and is paid over $4 million this year per Spotrac.

Restricted free agent CB Troy Hill was also brought back for the year, ultimately making Webster very expendable.

Interesting.... this could be bad.

Because he was an undrafted free agent in 2015, the Rams wouldn’t receive any compensation if a team were to make an offer and sign him. Rams would have the opportunity to counter any offer made to Matt though. In truth Rams need a fully healed & 100% ready to go Matt Longacre. Most teams may be hesitant to offer too much with his late last season back surgery.

Does this mean the Rams did not make any offers to the other Ram RFA's? OT Darrell Williams?
