"Cuz I'm movin' on up, to the big time. To a deluxe 1st round pick in the sky....Like George Jefferson!" ~ LesMore asshole negativity from yours truly (sorry I'm high and on a roll here boys): How does a Kamara clone get through that 20s range of playoff teams. There is just no way in hell Gibbs makes it out of round 1. The guy is everything modern teams want in a backfield threat.
I think he's off that board in the late teens. People saying there's only 17 first round picks in this draft. So no way in hell a quality kid like Gibbs slides. Sorry @Loyal but you need to have some tissues ready for Thursday night.
That is likely a bet you can actually make at a sportsbook. I feel like McVay will be making the first pick, so offense, but, I also hope/think Snead might step in and show him our current defensive lineup. For me it's Hyatt but McVay would choose Gibbs
Either way I would bet a lot of money that our first pick plays offense
Last mock I saw has him going to the Jaguars at number 24. Sounds like he shouldn't on that list for #36. A guy that should be on that list to be available is Brian Branch. Not as big and fast as Ringo but scouts love his IQ and instincts. Projected to be a good NFL starter within two years.Shit. Just realized you have Banks on that list. Banks has no chance to be there at 36. Zero. And if he's there he is the pick period. IMO.

But since he's not on the list I guess I gotta pick someone in the poll. I went with Gibbs. Since this year seems to be all about offense he'd be a good fit to compliment Akers. Sub 4.4 40 yard dash. Can catch passes out of the backfield. An NFC executive said when Alabama's offense was sluggish they used him out of the backfield catching passes to get the offense going.
I know we need edge rusher more than running back. But unless that edge rusher is a top five can't miss guy, I don't see anyone coming in and making the defense better right away. away. A good running back can make the offense better right

A stud edge will be available at 36. No need to overthink it.

I don’t think there’s another possible 36-avail. pick out there that would have a more dramatic affect on our team.I had to vote Torrance. We’ll never draft an OL that high with this regime, but so much gets better on offense if our OL were stout and Torrance is def stout
I would love the pick and think it would solve lots of issues for us. I also picked him.I had to vote Torrance. We’ll never draft an OL that high with this regime, but so much gets better on offense if our OL were stout and Torrance is def stout
