And this may not be all that new, but I make my mimosas with fresh squeezed grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. It's gotta be fresh squeezed. Way better to me than orange juice because it's not sooooo sweet.
It's not an alcohol based drink, but I can make a cappuccino on par with the best coffee shops.
Yep. I used to make a mixture of crushed red salt (you lived in Hawaii - you know), cayenne, and lime powder. I tried Habanero but it stung the corners of my mouth too much. Really unpleasant.
I've made margaritas with a fresh Habanero thrown into the blender. That was really good yet very hot. Watch out because the alcohol seems to open up the heat. I went to a restaurant that served Scorpion Chili Margaritas. One time I had them and they were really freaking hot. The next time I ordered one - I crap you not - I had the hiccups after the first sip and I thought I was going to die about half way through. He took it back and made two more margaritas with it and neither Becky nor I could drink those. I have made sauces with Scorpion Chili and it has to be the most inconsistent chili next to the Jalapeno. One thing you know is that it is going to be hot. What you don't know is if it is going to be heart stopping.
BTW - I'll be posting my Margarita recipe later. It is ultra simple and dangerously tasty.
Looks great. I haven't had a White Russian in years. Chocolate would be a nice addition
Got an actual recipe? I love White Russians. But that looks extra tasty.Chocolate White Russians, man.
Is that really all there is to an Old Fashion? I make several different simple syrups. I may have to make that for the wife.Old fashion.
Bourbon, a little simple syrup or tsp sugar and ice.
Just add chocolate syrup into a White RussianGot an actual recipe? I love White Russians. But that looks extra tasty.
@RamFan503 Nope. forgot the bitters.(a few dashes). Sometimes I'll make an orange syrup as wellGot an actual recipe? I love White Russians. But that looks extra tasty.

I like the idea of the Chile in the Maragarita. I prefer mine on the rocks. I think I'll try the cayenne pepper in it next time.OK - Here's my ultra super simple killer Margarita recipe.
I have a 6 cup blender so if yours is a different size, alter the recipe accordingly.
1/2 can (6oz) frozen lime-ade
Ice to about 1 inch from the top
Triple Sec to just below the 2 cup line
Tequila to the 4 cup line or a bit more if you dare
Blend
For a good kick - throw in a Hapenero or two or if you don't have any, sprinkle in some cayenne or ground red pepper.
Now I know this sounds like a lot of ice...
Seriously though, obviously with the ice and limeade in the pitcher, there is not 4 cups of alcohol in there. That would get your wife or girlfriend drunk too fast to be fun. This recipe does not require a really expensive tequila. Save that for sipping or if you want to give it a nice little float.
But once you try limeade and see how good and simple it is, you will never use a Margarita mix again.
Cheers
I have some orange bitters. Funny though. I love bitters in drinks but don't care for bourbon. My wife is the whiskey fan but hates bitters.@RamFan503 Nope. forgot the bitters.(a few dashes). Sometimes I'll make an orange syrup as well
Great sipping cocktail.

I like both. Cherry bitters are also pretty good in it.I have some orange bitters. Funny though. I love bitters in drinks but don't care for bourbon. My wife is the whiskey fan but hates bitters.
Success! Well... in a bastardized sorta way. I had some homemade Red Currant Blossom simple syrup, some orange bitters, and Jameson. 2 parts Jameson, 1/2 part simple syrup, and a few shakes of bitter. That's pretty good stuff.I like both. Cherry bitters are also pretty good in it.
I drink Irish breakfast tea but looking at what this thread is about I doubt it's what you're referring to.Anyone heard of an Irish Breakfast?
