I'm sure you see it as much as me being in the business but yeah this is a common problem. I'm glad BJ's bbq came back from their closure for 2 or 3 weeks. It's so rough right now even getting people to work let alone keeping the ones that want to work healthy and moving forward.@OldSchool . We went there Sunday morning to find this. I sure hope they come back from this.
Yeah... It's been tough. I'm in the hiring/firing game and it has been ridiculous for us the last 2 years. I just hope this iconic establishment gets through this and hope good news for the owner.I'm sure you see it as much as me being in the business but yeah this is a common problem. Our distribution manager hired two guys a couple weeks ago. Went through the whole process of applying, interviewing, drug testing and safety training. Then the two of them worked a combined 1 day. I know some places that have taken to reporting people to unemployment if they don't even come in for an interview. Enough of those and people can be denied it unless they find a job. It's terrible right now I also know one of the major casino's is at about 67% employment and when you employ a couple thousand people that's a big number.Yeah... It's been tough. From my observation, they do everything right. Great food, excellent service, Rams fans....
Right? We've hired several people that simply don't show up.Our distribution manager hired two guys a couple weeks ago. I think they saw you coming, stuck that message on the door and got everyone to hide. You’ve got to stop wearing that tie-dye top of yours.Thing is that PJs is always busy and everyone I deal with seems so happy. I really hope this place doesn't go away.
Did Rapscallions ever reopen? That was one of the top dinner places in town for decades and last I saw it was closed with a fence around the place.Thing is that PJs is always busy and everyone I deal with seems so happy. I really hope this place doesn't go away.
Nope. Still fenced off. Signage gone too.Did Rapscallions ever reopen? That was one of the top dinner places in town for decades and last I saw it was closed with a fence around the place.
