Been a while. I want to add.

When me and the wife go shopping on Wednesdays we always stop at either cracker barrel or Bob Evans for breakfast. I love that Egg Sandwich from CB...but that B&G from Bob Evans is tough to beat imo.

Its the simple pleasures in life.
I had almost forgotten how much I enjoy eggs until I recently adapted a low carb diet to finally work down the Covid 19#.
Fried eggs "over easy" with some fresh avocado, hit with siracha sauce and a side plate of bacon.
Like Escoffier once said, "The greatest dishes are very simple"

Just had hashbrowns and waffles today. Now I wish I had shared the pic. Maybe tomorrow?

I'm sure you see it as much as me being in the business but yeah this is a common problem. I'm glad BJ's bbq came back from their closure for 2 or 3 weeks. It's so rough right now even getting people to work let alone keeping the ones that want to work healthy and moving forward.

Yeah... It's been tough. I'm in the hiring/firing game and it has been ridiculous for us the last 2 years. I just hope this iconic establishment gets through this and hope good news for the owner.

From my observation, they do everything right. Great food, excellent service, Rams fans....

Our distribution manager hired two guys a couple weeks ago. Went through the whole process of applying, interviewing, drug testing and safety training. Then the two of them worked a combined 1 day. I know some places that have taken to reporting people to unemployment if they don't even come in for an interview. Enough of those and people can be denied it unless they find a job. It's terrible right now I also know one of the major casino's is at about 67% employment and when you employ a couple thousand people that's a big number.

Right? We've hired several people that simply don't show up.

Thing is that PJs is always busy and everyone I deal with seems so happy. I really hope this place doesn't go away.

I think they saw you coming, stuck that message on the door and got everyone to hide. You’ve got to stop wearing that tie-dye top of yours.

Did Rapscallions ever reopen? That was one of the top dinner places in town for decades and last I saw it was closed with a fence around the place.

Nope. Still fenced off. Signage gone too.

I've gotten better at making hash browns. My son said they are better than any he's ever had.

I like scrapple. I bake it a little crispy. Any meat I cook for breakfast, I prefer to let the Sunnyside up yolk from my eggs run all over it.
