I play online Playstation with people from all over the country and a couple in Europe and it amazes me at the differences in breakfasts.

For me, I have always lived in the country in Central Missouri. Breakfast gets no better for me than making homemade biscuits and covering them in a spicy sausage gravy that I make with some nice thick cut bacon and a glass of ice cold milk.

I have friends in New York who have never heard of B&G. To them its the same as getting gravy from their country fried steak on a piece of bread...not even close, my friend.

Biscuits and gravy here too, Juggs. Love the sausage gravy at Bob Evans!

Maybe my favorite full breakfast... Cracker Barrel's Country Boy Breakfast with scrambled eggs, hashbrown casserole, country ham, biscuits and gravy, grits. Plus some apple butter for an extra biscuit. (y)

Heck yeah!

Well if we're choosing from anything, I'd have to say the King Crab Benedict at Stone House here in Reno. You can get gout just looking at it. :ROFLMAO:

Sorry to say. I have never had good biscuits and gravy.... Or is it that I've never had biscuits and gravy and thought, "Yeah... I'd order that again". Not a fan.

For simple stuff, give me Farmer John maple sausage links, a couple ranch eggs, an English muffin, and hot salsa and I can eat that every weekend. Oh wait... I pretty much do. Breakfast is the only thing I can get Becky to cook.

My favorite breakfast...well, I know a coffeehouse and creperie in Clayton, Missouri that makes absolutely fantastic crepes. But then again, I wouldn't say no to hashbrowns, eggs, sausage links, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, Belgian waffles, oatmeal with brown sugar, etc.

What can I say? I love breakfast.

I've never had good biscuits and gravy in a restaurant. Its always just cream gravy with some sausage thrown in. Pure garbage.
Making it from scratch, witj sausage drippings is the only way to go....and I love it.

one thing I have learned from watching a lot of Brtibox , they eat alot of Beans on Toast in the UK

thought I'd try it , I figured , I like toast , and I like beans , how bad can it be

and you know what

it tastes like beans..........................................on toast

but someone correct me if I' wrong , but I think it's against the law to use any kind of bean other the Heinz

Biscuits covered in some good sausage gravy is one of my favorites too. I like to put a shit load of coarse ground black pepper all over before I gorge.

My go to... a BLT with fresh avocado and 2 sunny side up runny yolk eggs. I prefer it on toasted fresh challah bread.

Another good one. Two tortillas topped with refried beans, pico de gallo, green salsa, 2 sunny side up eggs, and some hot sauce.

I also LOVE grits with butter and salt n pepper.

I usually don't eat breakfast though. Only on the weekends or when I'm on vacation do I eat it.

Biscuits and Gravy made from bacon grease.

Absolute best.

Side of crispy country hash browns and bacon.

No one ever walks away without getting a “little” more.

Your NY friends need to do a little research. There are not many places that serve biscuits and gravy; and most that do should not be too proud.

I agree with you. If well made, that is a great breakfast. I have found four places in Manhattan that have excellent biscuits and gravy.

An upper east side diner and a west side restaurant. Then there is a midtown take-out only place that serves biscuits and gravy three days a week. However, the best is a little place near Alphabet City (lower east side) by the name of Post. Fantastic biscuits and gravy.

Another favorite is well made corned beef hash with eggs (over easy or poached). Some old timers think scrambled eggs with hash is an abomination but I am more reasonable and flexible.

Problem is that while many places offer corned beef hash, it is awful in most of them. Personally, I have found only three locations in all of Manhattan that offer really good corned beef hash; and the best is the Times Square Diner which is not at Times Square.

When I was in Afghanistan I never left Kandahar. At the DFAC every morning (for a while anyway; free mornings was the only good thing about bus detail) I would get a 2 egg ham and cheese omelette, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, and syrup. I'd mix all that together and eat the hell out of it. The biscuits and gravy weren't great, but at the time that was the best damn food I'd ever eaten.

Ok, this is a good topic. When I am driving around, I think the fast food breakfast offerings are disgusting. Hell, I'd rather have a burger and fries at 7am than that ! Can I get an Amen from our resident burger boy? @CGI_Ram .

My favorite restaraunt breakfast is Momma's Pancake Breakfast at Cracker Barrel. The way the cook gives a slight crunch to the pancake is something I love/ Add whipped butter and a couple bottles of maple syrup....Bruuuuuhhhh!

Favorite breakfast that I can hardly get anymore, is egg benedict. I love. a good hollandaise sauce over a poached eggsliced bacon and a muffin. It must be illegal in Kansas because I have hadn't had it since I moved here in 1998.

I feel ya brother!

Ever since I got on this thread and posted mine six hours ago I feel like an addict that just needs a little bump.

Got everything except the biscuit stuff that the M-wife is going to get tomorrow morning before the games start. (Left-Coaster)

FYI.......if you are into crispy hash browns........dang air fryer does a job better than any place I have paid for them.

Screw it, there must be a store open this late. Call it an early start.

Tomorrow is our day guys.

GO RAMS!!!

Where are you from? Someone the other day was telling me they use bacon. He is from Oregon or Washington. Not sure if thats regional. I couldnt go away from the spicy Bob Evans sausage I use.

Bob Evans, by far has the best chain restaurant B&G. I worked as a waiter at Cracker Barrel for a few years in my early 20's and I hate their Sawmill Gravy. I'm with @Selassie I with the course pepper. I even like a dash of hotsauce now and then. Something I picked up in New Mexico when I was an OTR Truck Driver.
