Yikes. We didn't draft any OL at all.

But two safeties?
I could have sworn they wanted to grab an OL in 2nd or 3rd round.
Ouch.

I know I must be the last person anyone who likes the draft want to speak favorably...but there's still two picks and UDFA to go - and we have a lot of spots open for the roster.

They shouldn't take a player to fill a position of need if player isn't what they are looking for.

I am ok with it.

Well if the talent isn’t there in the round we traded down on, it doesn’t get better in the seventh round.
Oorrrrrr there is enough talent and they’d like to capitalize more on a 4 yr contract with 2 more players?

Which one makes more sense?

.

after listening to mcvay and snead yesterday they made it very clear they're happy with what they have at the oline position.

they were never picking one in this draft.

Huh so you know what the last two picks are going to be? :D

One thing that's abundantly clear every year. We fans don't know as much as we think we do. It's clear that McVay and Kromer don't feel they need to spend picks earlier than 7th round comp picks on OLine. They must like what they have so we'll just have to learn to live with that.

OK, so from what I'm reading so far in this thread, some of you think we'll still grab some OLine bodies before camp? Virtual training camp LOL.

They drafted multiple OL in the past 2 drafts, players that needed time to develop. The coaches must be confident that it is time for these players to step up. They are with these players daily and know a lot more about them than we do.

My opinionon OL has been:
1) Sign a proven player as a FA
2) Draft a stud (not possible without 1st rounder)
3) roll with what they have

Rams have many young/developping OLs. Drafting more just didn't make sense to me.

There is still time. Throckmorton is versatile.

It'd be cool if his first name was like 4 syllables long.

Understood. However, is there ever “enough” talent? We were third place last year.

REALLY ??? Speak for yourself.

It depends on what fans you listen to.
You keep on telling me I’m a told you so.
You were right though about Gurley not being traded. I’ll admit There we’re a couple core defensive players I wanted The Rams to keep.

Your very response proves my point.
