Ahem... @den-the-coach  I know... 15 yards for unnecessarily piling on.

I believe I corrected myself several times, however, I didn't post they wouldn't "Trade" for knuckleheads.

Patriots and Bellicheat are pretty desperate. Their time is freaking over though.
That's right. They'll win a few games, but never sniff another SB. They are fucking done.

So @flv any odds on if the patsies end up cutting JG before having to forfeit that pick and instead give up a 7th?

Haha. They coulda just kept Cooks.

I’m going to cherish every minute of the unraveling of that team.

They dont even have to cut him. This is a terrible deal for the Browns. He could just be inactive a few weeks and they get him for free and give up nothing. This move has zero risk for the Pats and tons of upside. Im having a hard time believing another team couldnt offer a 4th or 5th with or without being conditional. I mean a team like the Cowboys offering a conditional 5th would be a better offer considering the pick will be a little better based on records (Pats will be in playoffs and Cowboys wont).

Maybe the Browns really liked the idea of getting the 32nd pick of the 5th round from the patsies. :sneaky:

I think there is confusion here. The 5th doesn't seem to be conditional - it's going to the Browns. What is conditional is the Browns sending a late round pick to the Pats if Gordon isn't active for at least 10 of their 14 games.

After reading it again, I believe you are right.

I guess i just don't feel like this move is going to make the Patriots better. IMO Gordon's legacy is already written. Outstanding talent who blew it...over and over and over again.
