All of you wanting to trade Goff are ridiculous, you must have short memories on how snake bit we were at QB for YEARS. My God, I can't even imagine having this mentality to see what a great talented QB we have and take him for granted the way you jokers do..Oh and if you got your wish and we had Wilson, all it would take is a few poor performances from him, cause he has them, all the time, and you would be talking about trading him too.

Very well said, Ewe.

To underscore your point, let us not forget how eagerly and zealously Rams fans advocated for running Kurt Warner out of town on a rail when he started struggling with the Rams - and how, with a divisional rival, he showed us all that he had plenty left in the tank. Let us also not forget how Martz put Warner in one bad situation after another and absolutely got him killed, which is what led to those struggles in the first place.

Finding a decent QB is hard. And fans have short fuses, as shown by the way the quickly and viciously turned on Warner, showing that even an elite QB isn't safe.

Thank you for your personal opinion on this HYPOTHETICAL ONLY trade.
In that hypothetical world I feel like we'd instantly be much better with R. Wilson.
And I hate Wilson as a person, which proves that this "would you" question was just for fun.

I've been a devout Rams fan since age seven in 1974 ..... where in 1979 at age ELEVEN I barely ate and drank for 2 weeks ... at eleven years old! ... because the Rams lost the superbowl. I'm a for real fan. But that doesn't mean I can't have fun discussions. Yet some here call me a "troll" haha, over a silly hypothetical discussion on what if we had a different person as QB. Sheesh people get way too riled up sometimes. :) Why does it butthurt some people's feelings to question whether Goff is a game changer or not? Sheesher weesher.
Do you create this "hypothetical" thread if we win and goff played good? If the answer is no than how can you say this isnt a troll thread? I mean come on.
This thread 100% looks like a bash goff thread and judging by your previous post about goff it's easy to come to that conclusion.

Wilson gets sacked more than just about anyone.

9 seasons - 366 sacks

The green midget averages 40 sacks a year

Yeah this is a trollish question for many reasons... but no unbias person besides some person who counts stars to make predictions would trade wussel. Only person would be Mahomes and that;s it.

I like Jared and root for his success, BUT something is missing with him. Call it fire or desire, he doesn’t exude the disposition of a leader to me. But we are not on the team. I am not sure I wouldn’t try to pick up a value pick next year at QB. We all know Russell Wilson has more going on right now, but that trade isn’t ever going to happen. Yes, I’d take Wilson, finances aside.

I think the troll comment is because this is equivalent to last year asking would you trade Fowler (who showed flashes and put up only 1 really good season) for Khalil Mack.

plus the timing matters...to ask a no brainer Question like this right after Goff has an awful game to me is kinda saying “look Goff isn’t as good as Wilson”

Plan for what? The question was would you trade Goff straight up for Russell Wilson. So I said yes. And my plan is to have Russell Wilson start? What’s the question ?

I do not believe McVay has not come up with viable ways to counter the cover zero and that the Rams have practiced those counters. He is too good of a coach. That leads me with the alternative that Goff still has not learned how to execute the counters. That is troubling.

Well Brian I just don't believe you, sorry

I think they're probably about equal

You purposely ignored my simple question. Why did you?

Of Wilson and Goff, who do you think is the better QB? (you cannot answer wither way can you? because if you say Goff is better than Wilson, you'll get every eye on earth rolled at you) If you say Wilson is better, than you contradict yourself. Tough spot to be in.

Is Goff as good as Wilson?
And yes, because Goff is not improving or making good decisions, THAT would be the only time you'd question what you've got. Goff has had a LOT of bad games recently. Not just yesterday. But he's our QB. We've paid him and we'll keep him. My "trade talk" is just for entertainment. Of course it would never happen. Who would give us an elite QB for Goff?

I honestly don’t even know what you’re saying anymore. There is no defensible point to say Goff has been or currently is as good as Wilson. This question was pointless. You posted it right after goffs worst game and it served no purpose. If you asked something like is it time to consider other options at qb that is a discussion but you didn’t. You asked would you trade Goff for the league mvp

No point in this thread other than to bash goff. This is not for "entertainment" that's complete bs.
I ask again if we won the game and goff played great does this thread exist? Yes or no?
