Eh, they have the right to be mad. Just hoping this warrants a change in the offseason where coaches can challenge flags and non-calls.

Let's just show ALL of the missed calls in the game, play it on national tv and whoever has the most miss calls at the end of the show wins the game. LOL I think I'm on to something here.

Lawsuits? The NFL is immune to such lawsuits. As a Sports Entertainment business they are not required to provide fans with a fair contest, just an entertaining one.

It’s already been established when Jets fans sued for ticket money.

Florio once again displaying his lack of research and ability to grasp simple concepts.

I wish someone, maybe even Goodell would come forward himself and just say, Yeah that was a blown call one of many that game but the Saints were up 23-20 with a chance to stop the Rams and didn't, then they had the ball in OT with a chance to win and didn't, Rams won, story over, enough is enough.

Goodell has been unusually quiet about this... color me surprised

I say lets reset the score to 20-17 Saints, 5 minutes left and the Rams get the ball 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. That way, both horrible missed calls get reset.

After the Rams win (again) the official score stays at 26-23

The saints should be blaming Asshole Face for the loss. If he runs the ball 3 times, they either get the first down and have a chip shot to win the game or they kick the FG with less than a minute left for the Rams to respond with no time outs.

A multibillion-dollar corporation with DEEP pockets and its team of highly qualified and ruthless litigators versus some dude named Saul.

I gotta say, I don’t like his chances.

Ok. Time for the owner of the Saints to step up and say the game is over we lost and have no intention to replay anything.

Wonder if the other owners have that conversation with the current Saints ownership.

This needs to be squashed now.

That would be the fastest way to do so.

The Saints owner came out and cried too. Me thinks come Owner meetings later this year Stan will have some choice words with her.

Thing is - the fans and that lawyer don't have standing to sue, imo. The Saints team might, but by their franchise agreement can't.

It was a missed call, one of many. Get over it, Saints fans. You wouldn't like a NFL where every call that unfairly went your way was sued over.

Conveniently, the suit is for after that one non-call, and ignore all the others - most of which helped the Saints.

I wonder if those Saints fans realize that their team has already scattered to the winds, while the Rams are gathered to practice for the Super Bowl. I also wonder if they realize that if they tick the NFL off enough for no reason, the NFL could start enforcing rules against them they've been lax on. For instance, noisemakers aren't supposed to be in the stadium. Since the Saints make no effort to stop whistles being brought in, maybe they should have draft picks taken away? Maybe it's time that the Saints need to give up a home game to play internationally - always against tough opponents. Maybe officials will be assigned every game they don't want.

RePlay out using playstation....never know...just as ridiculous as the law suit

Only a clown like Florio would take this BS seriously. As if any sports team would let the floodgates open by giving this clown lawsuit more than the chuckle it deserves.

Why not revert the game to the other no calls that the Saints commited in this game and would have changed the game in the Rams favor? Why not replay a game from week 17 when some team got wronged by the refs and missed the playoffs because of it? Why not replay all the Super Bowls the Patsies cheated their way into? What a joke, I didn't realize the Saints and their fan base were such a group of sad, whiny bitches.

Too bad the lawsuit is meritless on many levels and will be quickly dismissed. If it went forward the NO fans could cite Jerry32's petition as evidence of the refs' bias. True, they were biased against the wrong team, but that's a mere technicality.

The Saints had their do over. It's called overtime. They lost. They don't get another shot to lose again.
Great Point! You are 100% correct. Both of the Fox & CBS paid previous officials refs said the same thing.

OT in these Championship games is a new brand game with different rules. The 4th quarter ended & a new OT game began. Thus this OT NFC Championship game was officially the new game with another coin toss but part of the new rules was so it would not end with a tie........Saints lost this OT Championship game there were no referees calls that were questionable.
