It is a truly beautiful sport but you have to love the play and get the reward from the scoring. If scoring is the only real point of interest it can test your patience but I like that a score can happen anytime as possession is always being contested.

England have staggered into the semifinals without putting the performance together for an entire game.

I never thought we'd beat Mexico at the Azteca. And we did with some real backs-to-the-wall, 10-man defending.

So then you start to feel confident against Norway, and they're lucky to win.

I think we have the potential to beat Argentina, but either Spain or France is going to absolutely shred our defence.
