Rams have a lot of o linemen. Lot of them didn’t show anything last year, got worse and/or are coming off injuries.

His route running is ELITE. Dad was a NFL WR so he's been running perfect, professional level routes since he was a kid. He's smart and a good kid.

The question now is, can we move Reynolds for a 4th?

I can live with the player but NOT at R2.57. He’s projected to be a slot receiver. I think we have the best slot receiver in the NFL already on the roster.

Sorry, but he’s nothing like Josh Reynolds. They will play completely different roles. It was a bad comparison.

I watched some video, and he's almost his clone.

But the big thing is, this guy will be WR #4 this season, when we have 4 starting LB positions available.

I can't tell if you're being serious, who's that passionate about a 7th round pick lol

With all due respect, jjab, you're talking to someone who is that passionate about a seventh round pick.

Best route runner in the class IMO. He’s a better Mohammed Sanu. Perfect fit for this offense. I can see us running a lot more 4 wide. Let’s get an edge and a center and call it a day.
What about an inside linebacker?

He'll produce less than Kupp does, and to me, this is Kupp's replacement. And Mims was right on the board. We passed on him twice. And Mims would've filled Cooks' role.
Can’t replace ELITE route running. Guy is precise as you get. You’ll like him, promise!

He'll have to prove an absolute fuckton of a lot for me to like this pick. To me, this pick says, "We're not re-signing Cooper Kupp, and you'll like it."

Maybe. Or maybe McVay sees Kupp and Jefferson as complements. Mims is raw and had some drop issues. His ceiling is sky high, but I trust McVay on WRs.

Who says they were trying to fill Cook's role? I think it shows that McVay / Snead value receivers who are technicians, smart, savvy, good hands with decent speed.

I get it, it's just...not what I would've done.

Projected by who? McVay has shown his offense can score 30 points a game in NFL. I don't think McVay will feel limited to playing Jefferson in the slot.

What @jrry32 said. Mims has some issues, Van is pretty solid, I thought he’d go lower but I’d rather get our guys ahead of time and be able to go BPA later kinda like spades and suit of need.

Guy has elite route running, 4.46 speed, can catch in traffic. Guy is solid asf. Cooks was shaky when it came to making contested catches.

He won’t be able to prove anything until the season so you’ll just have to be mad until then! Lol

I think it shows that the Rams aren't planning on re-signing Kupp. That's mainly the reason I'm pissed.
