Is Jefferson the seasoned veteran player that Cooks was?? Yeah, that was missing.
But he also thinks Jefferson is a star in the making, and can get deep.
“He’s just got a great feel for the game. I think he’s wired to separate. He’s got all those intangible traits and characteristics that you’re looking for and he’s really taken everything in,”
Sorry, i don't see Jefferson as an explosive receiver. He never was in college, not sure why he would be one now.

Now maybe you have a diff definition. I look at guys like Metcalf, a younger DeSean Jackson Brandin Cooks, guys that eat up yards quicky off the line. Guys who secondaries fear.

That ain't Jefferson.

From the article below on Snead's presser.

"At the 50:00 mark, Snead discusses the ‘deep threat’. He alludes to the way defenses must respond to the offense that possesses a receiver who can threaten the length of the football field. It’s clear that the dialogue between McVay and Snead has already been somewhat lengthy over the opportunity to add a player or two who can run past defenders."

When McVay says he's wired to seperate, and we know he has top line speed, who's wrong?

So then they won't go get deep threat if that's the case. Lets see what happens.

I mean if Jefferson is DeSean Jackson or DJ Metcalf then they will stand pat. If not, they will get a HR hitter.

BTW, if Jefferson is this big time deep threat, then McVay was negligent for not putting him on the field more to just threaten the secondary with his outstanding speed. Would have at least opened up the field more.

Where ya been?

There's this whole discussion about McVay altering the offense going into 2019 and again in 2020 focusing on offensive efficiency which negatively impacted splash plays. As well, McVay clearly choked up on the bat a bit in an attempt to mitigate the turnovers.

It's not a question of not having the guys, but McVay feeling confident in calling the plays and the QB seeing the deep receiver in time to make the throw.

Thank you.
We saw a glimpse in the Wolford game, Jefferson and Wolford had a couple connections and a miss on a deep throw that 12 woulda taken to the house

Ok, then all the talk of needing a deep threat is nonsense and now I dont expect the Rams to draft one since we have all these speed demons.

From what I've seen, It doesn't do much good for the QB to see the deep receiver as he is being knocked on his ass. We need more time to throw deep!

Draft, sign, kidnap, steal, somehow get a better center!
