I hope so too, because we're all gonna die one day.

Well, I was thinking more because he is driven, determined and I thought he was a HUGE (More ways than one!) addition to the Rams OL/Team!!! I would love to have about 50 Andrew Whitworth’s on the Rams!!!

I like his remarks about how he's not going to pout or feel sorry for himself ... which is quite unlike a certain coach who binges on Netflix and ice cream and whose name I won't mention, but I'll give you a slight hint and say his name rhymes with "Don Dayton" ...

I like the message, just weird wording I’d say. It’s a raw moment.

Gazing into the realm of nihilism in a depressed state can either drift you further into the abyss or have you find your way to enjoy life as it is. Take it one day at a time, Whitworth.

"They're in the I-formation again, and Andrew Whitworth is in at FB to block for Andrew Whitworth the running back.

The ball is snapped!

It's another 3.5 yard gain and another defensive lineman injured. That's the Whiners last defensive lineman, Bob. They've been substituting the O line backups for 3 plays now.

Let's see what happens next."

I love it. Someone get the cloning machine ready.

Huuuuge difference. Yuge.

When thinking of the SB it was big whit who would first come to mind. I would imagine him with his wife son and daughter standing with the Lombardi finally bestowed upon him the victory a man of his leadership likeability and integrity so deserve. I am sad

Apparently he's identified the correct solution for the Brady/Bellichick problem.

Side note:I kept trying to type "Brady" and it kept coming up "breast". Why? Because my phone knows that guy is a tit.

Wife explains why Rams’ Andrew Whitworth deleted Twitter after Super Bowl loss
https://larrybrownsports.com/football/wife-rams-andrew-whitworth-deleted-twitter/483604

February 5, 2019 by Larry Brown

Andrew Whitworth is taking the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl loss harder than most. The Pro Bowl offensive lineman deactivated his Twitter account following the team’s defeat. His wife explained why on Tuesday, saying her husband just wants to avoid the noise for some time.

Hey everybody who is worried about Andrew deactivating his account it is strictly to step away for a bit and spend some quality time w family away from the noise. The Whitworths are all good thanks for the support #ramily #offseasonishere

Getting rid of his Twitter is one way to do that.

Whitworth was already back at the Rams’ facility riding on a bike after returning from Atlanta. He got morbid after the team’s Super Bowl loss, so that combined with the Twitter deactivation led to some concern. Maybe he’ll bounce back in the next few weeks.

Good choice, cutting ties with social media during the heat of the moment to spend time with folks close to you is the best way to remedy your demons.

Really can't see a guy like that going out with a loss. He'll be back.

My thoughts exactly. The dude is a competitor and I'm sure he not only wants at least one more chance at a Super Bowl, but not to go out with a Super Bowl *defeat* being the last taste in his mouth. That would be one bitter pill.

Then there is also the issue of making 11M, if I recall, to come back for 2019-2020 which also helps. ;)

He is playing at an absolutely elite level, and at least from the outside looking in, appears to still enjoy the game, the brotherhood that exists in the locker-room, etc. Even with a notable decline in level of play, he would still be very competent out there. Importantly, his health seemed to be fine as well. If he wants to, I think he could even play another 5 years barring injury. Maybe not in the same capacity. But he's that good.

Whit is the linchpin of the OL. I believe he wants to finish with a Super Bowl win. Let’s motivate him by resigning Saffold and looking at any other ways to strengthen the OL. Is Noteboom ready to contribute? Perhaps Blythe At OC?

Totally, Agree! And, I hope he always remembers how he felt after that LOSS and brings that ATTITUDE with him to camp and I hope it carries over to the rest of the team! I definitely think he will be a man on a mission next season!!! I would not want to be that defensive player(s) playing across from him next season!
