Today was pretty predictable. SC o-line has been a mess. Awful is pretty harsh 330 and 2 tds against ND, and likely the same today.
They are outmatched and he makes mistakes trying to keep them in it while chasing the scoreboard
No running game

And he's a far more physical blocker than the Rams current TEs.
I watch him and he's got the arm and the mobility but sometimes it just looks like bad decisions too often.

That's a great pick; he is the catalyst for that run game.
He has the tools but isn't ready. Another year would help; we will see if it happens.
He is certainly not a finished product. But I think some matchups are gonna make the QB look not so good and Oregon's one of them for USC. Also I am operating off of the thought process that teams are going to overvalue the measurables as they did with Richardson. Maybe that won't happen, and Maiava doesn't have Richardson's arm, however upside at QB seems to be the opium of the GMs. Great pro day workout means they lose their minds.
I figured that was the range being considered. That Falcons pick is probably reserved for McVay's toy on offense.
Methinks either Trey Lance or Zach Wilson could be the next Sam Darnold like reclamation project / success story if given the opportunity.

2022 - He suffers a season ending injury early in the 2nd game. Purdy stepped in his 49ers career was basically over.
2023 – Traded to Dallas
2024 – 5th year option denied
2025 - Now backing up Justin Herbert with the Chargers.
