NONE!!!!
I would draft the best OL “men”available.
One OL and One CB - and then draft another OL in the Second and Third rounds

And use FA to cover any other weakness that may pop up after this year.

Even if we had just one big cover corner yesterday - I believe we win going away.

Definitely going to continue to watch Mendoza, big at 6'5, good athlete so he can move in the pocket, however, a Miami kid, born and raised, if he continues to play like that the Dolphins will come calling.
The key in next year's draft will be ifvrhe Giants, and especially the Titans get a high enough pock to get one of the QB targets that McVay wants, assuming there will be a guy there that they will want.

Those teams have young QBs that they appear to like, so it comes down to a bidding war in terms of trade offers. With two #1's, we have a shot there even with teams like Miami drafting high.

This thread takes on greater importance because yesterday was the first time I saw a game where Stafford looked like age is catching up to him. He couldn't scramble for 2 yards, which is not a shock, but looked old that play. He missed easy throws, threw a bad INT for a vet like him, and overall just was not as effective as we expect. Orvaloski himself said on ESPN this morning, that Stafford played poorly and that was the difference.

They hopefully can find a guy that will be ready to go by 27' at the latest.

This should be Stafford’s last year. He didn’t make enough plays yesterday all the other issues aside. He’s a huge cap hit and is always banged up. His total lack of athleticism hurts us too.

Yeah, the redzone issues are partially due to having a QB that is no threat to run. Yesterday, the Rams didn't allow Hurts to hurt them that badly with his legs, but it also meant they had to keep someone near the LOS to spy him or at least tweak the D to account for him. Obviously teams never have to do that with Stafford and it just makes it tougher with everyone dropped back in coverage.

And yes, I realize having 2 back up OGs playing in that 2nd half hurt, but you have to overcome it. One more TD in the last 20 minutes of that half, wins the game.

It will be the Saints with the 1st overall pick and then go from there. If the Saints have that pick, they will take the best QB.....no way they trade it. Personally, it's so hard to know with QBs I would almost say it's better to grab the 2nd, 3rd or 4th QB. They always seem to be better.

I am not thinking a top QB will even be taken at #1... or that we would or could move up that high. I am thinking whether they make a move in the latter part of the top ten to take the 3rd or 4th best guy at say pick 6, 7 or 8, assuming they are worth that high of a pick.

Maybe Mendoza or Mateer?Assuming Sellers and Nussmier go higher, or maybe Nussmier is there? Not sure about Klubnik, maybe you take him later as he seems to be dropping. And others could emerge. The USC QB, the Oregon QB, or maybe someone else?

It might be, it might not be. The only thing for certain is that yesterday's game alone isn't going to be the deciding factor on that front.

Going to watch Fernando Mendoza today as Indiana takes on a very good Illinois team and their defense. Have to give Illini Head Coach Brett Bielema credit, he has made Illinois viable again and because of location and history, I did not think that was possible. Although Brett needs to cut down on the cheeseburgers.

Orange isn't very slimming. :laugh4:

I'm thinking Trevor Lawrence needs a new city and team in LA much like Daniel Jones did with Indy.
Is Trevor Lawrence going to play on a 14 mill prove it deal like Jones is in Indy as well?
Or will he want the 55 mill per deal that he already has?
