One concept going into next year's draft. There just may be a decent number of highly regarded QB's. Maybe the value of the #1 pick is diminished because there are 3-5 other draft worthy QBs. With so many worthy QB's, the cost to get them goes down...simple supply and demand. For this reason, next season's draft may be a great opportunity to grab that franchise QB, at a good bargain.

Guess we'll agree to disagree. Cuz patrick and burrow at their age and what they've accomlished is apples and oranges too.
Well if you move the goal posts, its apples and oranges. But as far as the chance of either getting traded after next season they are entirely 1 in the same.

Maybe...But it seems that every person, let alone every team, believes they have the inside track as ro which QB/player is the one that will be the next superstar. Meanwhile some guynamed Tom Brady is waiting in the 6th round...

Unless the Falcons stink it up, moving up for a QB will still be very costly and there will be competition to do it. Even a team with a veteran starter will consider drafting a top QB prospect. They could land a cheap (5 year deal) QB who may develop into a better player than what they have. So it goes beyond the Giants, Saints, and Steelers.

Nah...A QB named Cade sounds like a character Keanu Reeves would play in The Replacements

That's the deal for next year, hope Atlanta stinks up the place. Even if not for a QB a top 10 draft pick would be great to have.
Just imagine how many 6th round picks Snead could get for that. Lol

That's just what people around him/Texas have speculated. I don't think he's a kid who's swayed by much.

You could be right though. I'm just not banking on it. And he hasn't even played or started a full season yet. Have to pump the brakes on him some.
What I hope is, Texas wins the championship so he has done it and moves on. If for no other reason, he will add to the pool and push good QBs further down the draft.
