Yeah, I guess it's an LA thing, but Montana was my favorite QB to watch, and I can't think of anyone who reminds me more of Montana than Goff really. As a fan from St. Louis, I didn't share that same traditional hate for the 49ers, so I can still have fond memories of 16. Obviously, it's a different league and Goff will have better stats.

Cool thing, if you remember most of his rookie season was behind Steve DeBerg. Apples and oranges to Fisher, Goff and Keenum I know, but I don't care where you draft him, you don't call a quarterback a bust based on his rookie season.

Also, like Dak Prescott, whom I like, I don't think you can label a quarterback superhero after his rookie season.

Finally, no way would I take Mahomes over Goff, sorry.

For the short term?

Brees, Brady, Rodgers.

For the long term, nobody.

Mahomes is awesome, but he's also playing with the best supporting cast in the NFL. Dak looked great under these conditions - and then he didn't. I'll wait on Mahomes.

What would he have to do for you to be super impressed
Not turning the ball over 5 times in one game.
Throwing his receivers open.
Throwing the ball away while under pressure instead of taking sacks or turning it over.

I am coming around on him, but he does have some bad habits. You only get away with certain things so long before they start catching up to you. It will be interesting to see how he does next year, when DCs have a year's worth of film on him.

Amen, he has serious footwork issues. Once DC's put that on tape, they are going to run zone all the time, and wait for pressure to force Mahomes into mistakes.

Luck is the best answer if the Rams didn't have Goff. But like every sane Rams fan living in the real world, I'll keep Goff.

Nobody.

Mark my words, Jared Goff is going to be the QB that breaks all the yardage records. Due to the diversity of this offense, he may not get there with the TDs overall, but he'll be very close.

Goff is that good and with McVay calling the plays, his future is brighter than any QB in the history of the NFL.

Not. Even. Kidding.

Really surprised not to see more picks for Luck. Maybe his injury history is scaring people. But Luck is the whole package, he is simply wasting away on that bad Colts team.

My long term picks would be - Mahomes, Wilson, or Luck.
My picks short term pick would be the above three and any of the following - Brees, Rivers, Stafford, or Rodgers.

But I'm loving Goff and his little hands. I wouldn't trade him for any of the above.

I would not go with any other QB other than Goff.

Next in line
Under 30
Luck- The thing is can he stay healthy.
Wilson- He makes things happen
Mahomes-Still early but, he has made plays.
Watson-Looked great last year another injury could push him back.

I'll take more years with Goff..

It would be interesting to see Rodgers in as a Ram.
Brady too old.
Brees too old.
Rivers older too.

Goff has the talent, the demeanor, fits perfectly in the offense we have, and is young.

I'll keep him.

I like guys like Mahomes, but I want more of a pocket guy. I also think that Mahomes is benefiting from the same thing Goff got last year (wide open receivers) while Goff can fit the ball in any window. Jury is still out for now.
