Just curious - If you could have any NFL QB (Brees, Brady, Mahomes, Wentz, etc) on your team who would you want? While I personally think Brees is the best QB right now because of Goff’s youth and potential I would stick with him! Goff is having a remarkable season and I think he will just keep getting better and better as he gets more experience and his future in the NFL with the Rams just looks so incredibly bright and I personally wouldn’t trade him for any other QB in the NFL!

If I HAD to pick someone else, Deshaun Watson.

But you stick with Jared.

No one presently playing. But Peyton Manning would have fit in perfectly with Sean McVay's scheme.

Mahomes would be the only guy I'd consider, but I am more than happy with Goff.

Brees or Mahomes for this season. For a career? Mahomes.

Thats only stating any that i would consider. IMO we know what we have in Goff and that is the surest bet for yeara to come. Mahomes? Not 100% just yet.

Agree with Brees this year and would pick Mahomes (IF, I had to pick someone other than Goff!) for the future! But, I have to admit that I am a Homer so I will stick with Jared Goff!!!

I would choose no one. Goff is perfect for our system. He’s young and he’s no drama. Great accuracy great arm, smart, and has ice water in his veins. He’s a young Joe Montana. The only thing that concerns me is his slight frame which i’m always afraid of injuries. But thats ok since he’s not a running QB ala Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. I would rather have that type of QB rather than a Brett Farve or Steve Young type which depend too much on their legs and physical traits such as Mahomes, Wentz or Watson

No one. Goff is that QB who not only fits this offense but is really young and has that uncanny ability to shake off bad passes that every QB throws and the hard sacks many QBs receive. He’s cooler than a well digger’s ass. Not that I’ve ever felt one - you understand.

I'm good with what we have. If I had to pick somebody else for the short term, Aaron Rodgers would be my pick. If I had to pick somebody else for the long term, I think I'd take Wentz. But as I said, I want Goff.

Short term Brees
Long term investment Goff

I'm still not super impressed with Mahomes.

I am coming around on him, but he does have some bad habits. You only get away with certain things so long before they start catching up to you. It will be interesting to see how he does next year, when DCs have a year's worth of film on him.

I would say Watson too, I do have concerns about his style though. He’s not that big and he takes some big hits, and he’s had 2 knee surgeries. I remember last year he was on fire and that was before defense was against the rules.
It’s funny how opinion has changed on Goff though. He does have some Montana qualities, as crazy as that sounds. He doesn’t get too high or low and he can make all the throws. I think he’s got the best touch of the young guys and good ball placement as well.
