Which FA cornerbacks would you want?

Ponds is a dawg and has skills wheras a guy rated in that same range of top 10 -15 CB Everette from Georgia at 6'1 and 4.3 is a bit more of a project.

Delane, Terrel, Abney, Hood, Cisse, Scott are all 6' and 4.4 and rated above Ponds

I would take Ponds day 3 if he ends up there but I think we need to use 1 of our first 2 picks and value seems to be CB@13 and WR or ? @ the end of the round

do you think we'll look at FA CBs? Didn't last year and it was obvious CB was our biggest need. If we spend our cash on CBs, we use up cash we could use on offense.

They thought the rush would be so strong that they could get by at corner. But there's no way around it now.

Should be a lot of focus on the defense this offseason. And I am looking forward to it.

We've spent the least money on the NFL two years running. We had the top scoring offense. Yes we can spend money on D

Alonte Taylor and maybe Woolen if not draft one RD1 with our pick but one of these is a MUST! with Forbes and Mccreary, Durant!

Then use our 3rd round picks to get a linebacker that replaces Omar or get a Vet FA. Maybe Wagner will come back at a decent price.
 
I'm not sure there will be a ton of money for a FA cornerback. They have to lock up Nacua, Young, Turner and Avila. That will not be cheap. Maybe they don't keep all those guys but the cap will still take a hit.

This may truly need to be addressed in the draft. Certainly Durant will still be here but Witherspoon, Williams? I do think they keep Forbes.

I'm not a draft guy so I really don't know how deep the cornerbacks in the draft are this year but they need to find a couple. Maybe they bring in a bargain vet.
 
Woolen is too inconsistent and doesn't like to play the run.

Don't let the contract year performance fool you.
