All boards BBQ their QBs thirteen. Comes with the paycheck and the hot chicks don't feel sorry for them.
They're bringing in Brunell so he's in good hands. He will have a QB coach who has played and IMO Brunell can help him with his issues if he's dedicated to turning it around which I have to imagine he is.It’s hard to know from the outside whether Goff has been wronged here or if the organization showed great restraint in not airing their displeasure earlier or anything in between. It depends on the underlying reasons why he failed to improve. Maybe it was the pieces around him - maybe he really just never mastered the mental parts of the position and didn’t put in enough work to get there. We don’t know and we never will.
If Goff is the starter in Det next year, and if he sucks - he has a built in excuse. It’s the Lions.
If Goff lights it up next year - I think he can shut a lot of people here up - including me.
Yeah it's a fan thing lol. People lose their damn minds with QBs.This is all hilarious to me because over on seahawks.net they treat Wilson worse than ROD treats Goff. Way worse. And that's a HoF QB.

The media not giving him credit is both wrong and irrelevant.
There were plenty in the media that supported him.
Ah but you did feel sorry for him. He's gonna be just fine he'll move on and fuck models and live a great life and do weekends in Paris and Milan and all that type of shit. The world's his oyster man he's young, rich, handsome, etc.I never argued otherwise.
Its McVays last chance to prove it was Goff-not his system.... I think McVay was starting to hear critics that his playcalling and scheme were yesterdays news and he said F it and axed Goff with Kroenkes and Sneads blessing. If the Rams dont make the playoffs next year heads will roll
If you dont think coaches dont get word about whats been said about them (especially coaches with a huuge ego like our very own Sean McVay) then I have a bridge to sell you. His BOYGENIUS card is getting staleAs a football fan since 1976... I've yet to see a single piece of evidence that even the worst coaches listen to their "critics"
The picture of McVay seeing a Florio clip and thinking, "damn! Florio thinks I'm yesterday's news and I'm gonna be on the hot seat if we don't win the Super Bowl and I don't personally cancer next year! I better change things up!" is laughable.
Coaches don't even know what the critics say, let alone change their behaviors because of them...

If goff got the rams to a sb I expect Stafford to do the same and win. Anything less is a failure imo.
Well, they might have figure something out because from 2017-2018, 9 of the 11 are currently with their team.....I dunno if the entire NFL failed or if there’s a disconnect between college and how QB skills translate to the NFL, but seems there’s a bigger issue at play than Goff...
Funny thing is that the league doesnt agree with you. What are we at right now, 5 assistants promoted to other teams? 10 or more in his 4 seasons? The dude may have his flaws, (as all humans do) but clearly his "BOYGENIUS" is something many teams want a piece ofIf you dont think coaches dont get word about whats been said about them (especially coaches with a huuge ego like our very own Sean McVay) then I have a bridge to sell you. Although, that will change quickly
Trubisky, Watson & Darnold will likely be calling elsewhere home soon. Daniel Jones likely to follow
Maybe one of the worst board reactions to a "vent thread", cause even there we know it's only a 24 hour thing where folks can regain their sanity. Shit, there's still Warner/Bulger collateral damage and plenty of "what if" Bradford support.I think this was one of the worst board reactions to one of the best acquisitions we have made in years.
I think Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray will still be around, but it still doesnt negate your point.Which is telling.
In the next two years, other than Mahomes and Allen...going back from 2009-2018... a full decade... there are likely on two QB drafted in the 1st round with their original teams that stay.
Forgot Baker Mayfield. Did I forget anyone?
Out of how many? 45 guys?
That's less than a 7% hit rate for a franchise QB...
I'd have lost just about any bet about these stats... just wow.
