The bears d is really good, if they know what you’re gonna do, like at the end when the rams were not going throw, then it’s gonna be tough. Not saying don’t throw it but causing a turnover is the only shot they have, why give them that chance?

There is only one team on the Ram's schedule that has a defense that could be a challenge for the Rams. Surprisingly Tampa's D is showing itself to be a damn good unit. What gives them an advantage is they also have enough offense to take advantage of what their defense gives them. The Rams will need their A-game and Ramsey can't get caught looking and allow a receiver to run free. Brady would have burned him for probably 2 TDs.

But other than that if they continue to play as they did on Monday night they can run the table. If they sweep the rest of the division games I see them taking the division. That said the only real impediment is themselves. The coaches need to stay on top of things, and the players must play a clean game. Turnovers and penalties are what will derail this team.

If they play an aggressive game against Tampa and not sit back on both sides of the ball, the Rams match up well. As I said before the season I really feel they will finish 13-3 and no worse than 12-4. This team could have gone undefeated had Staley come out playing this style of defense from the beginning that's how good I think the talent is on this team. Had he played this style of defense against Buffalo they would have won. The same with the Niner loss.

I hope this was Staley's coming out signature win. He showed what he's capable of so he must build upon this game and not fall back into his soft play. AD said publicly that the team played too soft. IMO he was talking about Staley without mentioning his name. I think Snead and McVay saw the same thing and told Staley he needs to play to win not to lose. These are exactly the changes I said must be made and to Staley's credit, he proved he can coach to that level.

OMG, what can you say about Henderson? I knew he was good even before the season, but he's growing before our eyes. He made some moves and runs that were simply "Gurley who?" type of statements. I love his agility and most of all his acceleration. He's not all finesse he repeatedly shows a level of power you don't expect from 5'8" RB.

I don't know where all this criticism of Brown is coming from. As I've said repeatedly his role is to be the grinder and last night he certainly was. His red-zone runs and subsequent TD where he blasted his way into the end zone were exactly what this team needs. Henderson and Akers to break it open and Brown to grind it down the D's throat. I hope they can keep him because this gives the Rams a legit 3-headed monster run attack. What made Brown's performance even more eye-opening it that he did it against a very good defense. This is a top tier D and Brown ran it down their throats exactly how a defense like that needs to be attacked. Brown is a role player in this offense, but it's a crucial role and he plays it well.

They just need a legit FB to allow them to play that power run game I know Sean wants to play.

Ramsey had a key hit on 3rd down that led to a turn over on downs. He also had a gift INT but still he dotted it nice.

HOWEVER - he got burned 3 times over the top. Also 2-3 times I saw him make a "business decision" and decide to back up and avoid tackling the runner. This was not at the end either when the game was decided for the most part.

I think he is a smart player and a talent - but for a bucket of money and 1st round picks I need to see more.

My only real question and concern is the Akers usage. One carry that didn't actually happen. And that was his only snap. Yes, Hendo was balling and, eventually, Brown had some good runs. But, on Browns good runs, Akers could be housing it or at least getting more. Unless he is still injured and they want to have him as an emergency option, I don't get it at all.

His toughness and ball security impress me too. Plus he can catch and run.

Brown played well... but what some people are missing also is that brown plays because he can protect Goff also.

The box score split on pass/run was perfect, but I would have preferred to see more balance in how they got there. More runs early, more passes late. I know, McVay really wanted to get the lead so he passed, then really wanted to run out the clock and so he ran, but it was too predictable on both ends for me at least.

I know we crushed them... and it's ok to be aggressive in passing in games... but I hope to see McVay call some games with more patience or a better mix for the run. Not every game, not every series, but at least part of the time. We have seen this in the past from New England, where (when they had a passing game) they would just unpredictably come out and run the ball.

McVay is really good but imo he can still take it to another level as a play caller, one where other teams will not be certain what he will do going into a game or in a particular series. Right now teams still know he will default to the pass.

I have to believe Akers is still hurting. The combination of that and 'staying with the hot hands' is likely what is keeping his playing time down. The advantage though (in the long run of the season) is that he will be fresh for the final quarter of the season and the playoffs, which might be huge for us.

I guess, but some of this stuff that works against the sad sack Bear offense is not gonna fly against the west. Before the season I think most of us would’ve been stoked about 5-2 but clearly it’s going to take more to get to the playoffs.

i don't think we've seen anywhere near the rams best yet.

that loss to the whiners was brutal because they were soft as melted butter against basic stuff by that offense. they weren't tricked or fooled by anything the whiners did. they saw the rb or wr get the ball, were lined up to stop them but couldn't bring them down. i was tempted to perform a running sidekick through the tv when they let deebo run for 10 yards on 3rd and 8 at the end of the game. it was a sickening display by the d and mcvay must have blown a rocket up staley's arse because the d came ready to play yesterday.

I think a lot of the throws that just appeared to be off with Goff are throwaways. But, yes, lately, it seems some of his long throws have been overthrows but then we don't know if the WR got off schedule with his route either. I just want him to continue not to force throws that often end up INTs. He has a D to lean on that enables him to live another day with some of his throws.

We’ve seen Goff when he’s on and he can hit some of those tight window throws. It’s not that he’s struggling but he can take a bigger role. At halftime it was 10-3 and I thought it was still in doubt, I thought they could’ve put more points on the board, the Bears had an opportunity to score which would’ve made it a lot more interesting.

Honestly don't really think about those things except for the top couple. Off the top of my head Mahomes, Wilson and Rodgers ahead of him. Then a group that Goff is in with other young guys like Allen, Jackson, Murray and Wentz. Wentz has to stay healthy and Allen and Murray need to prove it for a year or two more and Jackson has to become something other than a runner.

After that you've got guys that were better than him in their prime like Brady, Brees, Rivers, Ben and Ryan. I could see people ranking them ahead of Jared but I'm not because they're declining while Jared is ascending.

I'm not sure where to put Dak, theoretically he'd be in the group with Goff but he just cannot lead his team against good teams and that injury might sideline him for next year. Cousins is another I'm not sure where to put. Likely in with Goff but I think we've seen his ceiling, he's good but very rarely great. Baker like Dak needs to win but he could join the Goff tier.

Young guys need more seasoning like Herbert, Burrow and even Tua. Jones and Darnold are hard to guage, they look bad but could a change of scenery and coaching help?

Long winded round about answer but I could see him in a ranking anywhere from 4 to 10 but much below 10 I might have an issue with a list.
