Limmer could make a big leap this offseason. He was decent as a rookie so…I would think the job is his to lose. Hard to say because I’m not in the building.

Having a (potentially) good Center on a rookie contract is a positive.

All 3 IOL positions should be an open competition every year because the Rams have a lot of talent and depth in the IOL. Best man wins regardless of their pay. If they end up with someone overpriced backups it will be because they got beaten out by some of the younger less expensive players. No need to move on from Jackson at a loss. Let him compete for a position and if everyone is healthy then he could always be moved at the trading deadline.

Agreed. Limmer played damn well as a rook. But him needing to beat out Jackson year two should ensure we have a top notch center in 2025 which is a good thing.

As they say, “Give them a year a of pro conditioning”. Limmer is already strong, but he’ll be better next year with pro diet and exercise.
