If I remember correctly, Saffold was a bust early in his career and they moved him to Guard to hide his bust status.

the arrogance of these fans.

Having spent 4 years outside Boston, there is an aura of rebellion and aggression up there.

Maybe it goes back to the Colonists... or that Tea Paaaaaaty... hell, New Hampshire's state motto is "Live Free or Die" (I used to tell them to die ).

So, they don't really care what is said about them... cheaters... whatever.

Really not worth wasting time on their thoughts... they'll never change.

I guess but plain idiotic in my opinion. This guy probable got it last year kept it got lucky and just added the third I this year.

Everybody dissecting our team better hope we lose. Because if we win, they'll be eating the worst part of crow. Just like after they called our quarterback a bust after 7 games. Lol and don't let Goff walk out of there with the MVP either. All hell is going to break loose. Keep your words soft and sweet Patriots fans, you may have to eat them later.

Wow.....breaking down our personnel groupings. And coming up w/ a big WTF? The grouping using Hodge instead of Cooks is more effective?!?!?!?

On a per-pass basis, for example, the following package was more productive:

QB Jared Goff, WR Todd Gurley, WR Robert Woods, WR Josh Reynolds, WR KhaDarel Hodge, TE Tyler Higbee, LT Andrew Whitworth, LG Rodger Saffold, C John Sullivan, RG Austin Blythe, RT Rob Havenstein

Los Angeles gained 11.3 yards per pass attempt using this variation of 11-personnel, with the only difference to the group above being the use of undrafted rookie wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge over ex-Patriot Brandin Cooks. However, the package is not one regularly used by the Rams: the team employed the Hodge-for-Cooks group on only 31 offensive snaps this season, attempting a mere 12 passes.

I got nothing. This is the reason analytics is isn't the best way to understand a team's tendencies. Oh, it can help....but to imply KhaDarel Hodge, who has had 2 catches for 17 yards is a better option than Brandon Cooks (80 catches, 1204 yards, 5 TDs....). I know the coaching staff isn't thinking along these lines. But to post this drivel......and then try and pass it off as you understand tendencies, groupings and such. Just sit by yourself and watch the commercials. You are not an analyst.

It makes me appreciate some of our forum's better thinkers. And for the would-be Patriots statistician.....we now return you to you scheduled program....

That's true, I'll take back the dumb ass comment for the RAMS fan but the Patriots fan is an ice hole, he ended up getting on the NFL channel yesterday and that proved it for me.

After the RAMS win I guess all he'll need to change is turn the a into a u.

No worries. He can just wipe off the magic marker after the game.
