Well, I dont see a need to rush either. I think this is the right thing to do. Now they can decide on new name/branding in their own timeframeIs it really that difficult to pick a new team name? I don’t get it
It's the ultimate white label with black print generic brand in a ever increasing generic world. Snyder might even just leave it that way in protest of having to change the name anyways. It's kind of funny.Well, I dont see a need to rush either. I think this is the right thing to do. Now they can decide on new name/branding in their own timeframe
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Washington is renaming itself the “Washington Football Team” with immediate effect. Per the report, it is neither the final name nor the rebranding name for the team. But it will serve as a placeholder until a new name is officially adopted.
The Washington Football Team will retain the burgundy and gold color scheme it has used for decades. However, the old logo will be replaced by individual player numbers on the helmets.
I dont think there's any doubt that part of this is Snyder's way of flipping off the protest. It's the ultimate white label with black print generic brand in a ever increasing generic world. Snyder might even just leave it that way in protest of having to change the name anyways. It's kind of funny.

I like it too.Call me crazy but I kike it. And I like the no logo.
SELL that shit. I’d buy it if I was a Washington fan.
I would have liked “Football Club of Washington D.C.” even better. Yes it sounds like a German 2nd League soccer team and Im good with it.
They could sell club memberships too. Get the fans on as official club members with different levels of access depending on how important you wanna be.
I was player/coach of the Russelsheim Mosquitos Baseball Club in Germany. We had youngsters that paid 600 a year to get to be on the club. The only drawback was I had to teach them baseball AND let them practice. So that was a little different and you couldnt have that kinda access in the NFL but you get the picture.
